One week after suffering an epic collapse, Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons will look to bounce back when they play host to Mitch Trubisky and the Chicago Bears in a suddenly, intriguing, Week 3 matchup. With the Falcons completely desperate and the Bears looking to record three consecutive victories, let’s look inside each team’s online NFL betting value in this Week 3 pairing.

Bears vs Falcons Betting Advice – Betting Lines
Moneyline: Bears +170| Falcons -200
The Bears have gone 6-2 SU over their last eight games and 10-4 SU in their last 14 dates against the Falcons. Despite their awful start, Atlanta has gone 4-2 SU over its last six games. Unfortunately, the Falcons are also 2-6 SU over their last eight home games and the aforementioned 4-10 SU in their last 14 games against Chicago. Still, the Falcons are completely desperate and their late collapse against Dallas in Week 2 should have them highly motivated.
Pick: Atlanta to Win
Point Spread: Atlanta -3.5
While Chicago is off to a 2-0 start the Bears have gone 2-6 ATS in their last eight games against their NFC counterparts. Chicago is 2-6 ATS in its last eight road games against a team with a losing home record, 1-4 ATS in its last five games overall, and 1-6 ATS in their last seven road games.
The Falcons are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall and an identical 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record. Atlanta has also gone 4-1 ATS in its last five games following an SU loss, though the longtime NFC South residents are also just 2-5 ATS in their last seven games as a favorite and 2-6 ATS in their last eight games in the month of September.
Pick: Falcons to Cover
Bears vs Falcons Betting Advice – Over/Under
The Over is 4-0 in Chicago’s last four road games against a team with a losing home record while the Under has gone 9-2 in their last 11 games as a road underdog. The Under is also 5-2 in Chicago’s last seven games in the month of September and 16-7 in the Bears last 23 games overall. The Over is an unblemished 7-0 in Atlanta’s last seven Week 3 games and 5-1 in their last six games overall. The Over is 4-1 in the Falcons’ last five games as a favorite and 12-5 in their last 17 games in the month of September.
Pick: Under 48 Total Points
Bears vs Falcons Betting Advice – Props Talk
Will There Be a Defensive or Special Teams Touchdown
Neither Chicago nor Atlanta has seen a defensive touchdown scored in either of their first two games respectively, but I’m going to go out on a limb and predict that one will occur in this Week 3 matchup. Chicago superstar linebacker Khalil Mack has recorded one defensive touchdown in each of the last two even years (2016 and ’18) and apparently is due for another. However, I’m going with Falcons rookie cornerback A.J. Terrell to record a Pick-Six.
Total TDs in the Game
Over 5½ +120
Under 5½ -150
Chicago put three touchdowns on the board against Detroit in Week 1, but was limited to two against a Giants defense that isn’t very good in Week 2. Atlanta scored three touchdowns in their Week 1 loss against Seattle while putting three more on the board against Dallas last weekend. I’m going with the Bears and Falcons to come up short of six combined touchdowns in Week 3.
A Team To Score Three Unanswered Times
The Falcons scored four consecutive times against the Cowboys in Week 2 and the Bears put three straight scores on the board against Detroit in their regular-season opener. This time around though, I don’t see the Bears putting three straight scores on the board because I still don’t trust Trubisky despite his hot start and I expect Chicago’s stout defense to keep Atlanta’s potent offense from scoring three straight times as well.
