Beatable NFL Odds this Week: Vikings To Sack Pack

If there were ever a “must-win” game, Sunday Night Football between the 7-8 Green Bay Packers and 7-8 Minnesota Vikings qualifies. The Detroit Lions already clinched the NFC North, but the Vikings and Packers can still make the playoffs with some luck.

The NFL odds list the Vikings as favorites on the spread at -1½, while the Packers present solid underdog value at -105 to win outright.

Minnesota Vikings -2 (-110)

My best NFL prediction for Sunday Night Football is that the Vikings will live up to their position as betting favorites and beat the Packers. More importantly, they win by a large enough margin to cover this modest NFL spread.

The Vikings already beat the Packers once this season, but to be fair to Green Bay, that team looked different from the one Minnesota will field in Week 17.

Despite the switch-up at quarterback from Kirk Cousins to Josh Dobbs to Nick Mullens and now to rookie Jaren Hall, Minnesota has amassed 714 yards passing in the last two games. It helps to have the best wide receiver in the NFL, Justin Jefferson, and a defense that proved it can shut down Jordan Love and the Packers.

Love was sacked four times in his last try against Minnesota, and the Vikings could ruin his day again.

Will the game feature over or under 3.5 total turnovers?

With the Packers terrible at takeaways, Under 3.5 total turnovers is a good NFL bet.
