Best NFC South Bets Week 2: Falcons, Bucs Offer Top Props

The NFL odds offer some intriguing prop bets for Week 2, especially in the NFC South. We are riding high after hitting all four of our NFC South prop bets during the opening weekend. Let’s see if we can keep hitting #winners.

For Week 2, the Buccaneers, Falcons, and Panthers are all worth exploring for the top props around the NFL. Tampa Bay squares off against Chicago as the Buccaneers look to remain perfect.

The Falcons play host to the Packers, with Atlanta entering as a slight 1-point home underdog. Can Desmond Ridder do enough for the Falcons offense to keep pace with Jordan Love’s Packers?

Finally, the Panthers are looking to bounce back against the Saints after an underwhelming Week 1. Carolina’s offensive line will need to drastically improve their play if Bryce Young has any chance of staying healthy this season.

Here is a look at the top NFC South prop bets for Week 2 based on the most appealing Vegas NFL odds and NFL lines

Look for a More Balanced Buccaneers Offense vs. Bears

Tampa Bay trailed Minnesota through much of the Week 1 matchup which meant Baker Mayfield needed to air it out for the Bucs to mount a comeback. Look for a more balanced approach against the Bears, which is why I like the under in Mayfield’s passing attempts when you’re betting online.

NFL Pick: Baker Mayfield Under 32.5 Passing Attempts vs. Bears -122

Cordarrelle Patterson Will Be Involved in Falcon’s Offense

Fantasy football fans are not going to want to hear this, but the Falcons backfield is going to be impossible to predict from week to week. Head coach Arthur Smith is intent on using multiple running backs which means you probably either overdrafted or spent too much to have Bijan Robinson on your fantasy team.

The good news is that Robinson is still going to be highly productive with whatever touches the playmaker receives. Tyler Allgeier is generating a lot of buzz for his 15 carries, 75 rushing yards, and 2 touchdowns against the Panthers.

This was without Cordarrelle Patterson who is expected to suit up in Week 2 after being sidelined with an injury. Allgeier will likely still receive more touches than Patterson going forward, but I still expect both to be involved.

Patterson can be used as both a receiver and running back making him a great sports bet to score a touchdown against Green Bay.

NFL Pick: Cordarrelle Patterson to score a touchdown vs. Packers +400

Bryce Young Starts an Interception Streak

Young has every opportunity to be a strong NFL quarterback, but the deck is stacked against him for his rookie season. The Panthers offensive line looks dreadful and this has to be factored into Young throwing two interceptions in the season opener.

Now, Young faces a Saints defense that prompted Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill to throw 3 interceptions in Week 1. This all comes together to point toward Young throwing another interception against New Orleans as we bet on NFL.

NFL Pick: Bryce Young to throw an interception vs. Saints -136
