It’s been 12 years since the Jacksonville Jaguars were featured on Monday Night Football and the 8-3 leaders of the AFC South are sure to put on a show against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13.

If you asked me about this game in the preseason, I would have been all over the Bengals with Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and the rest of this dangerous offense. I was high on this team to make a Super Bowl run, in fact. But that all changed when Burrow hurt his calf in the preseason and was about as mobile as a cast member of “My 600 lb life.”
Now that Burrow is out for the season, and up against a surging Jaguars team, the Bengals don’t look like such a profitable bet online anymore. Let’s get into why, and how we can make a few bucks off the Jaguars this Monday night.
Here’s a look at some NFL odds to consider!
Jaguars: Breakout Year in Full Effect
I see that some of my peers in the industry are seeing NFL Lines for Monday Night Football and tabbing this as their “trap” game of Week 13, but I disagree. Yes, the Jaguars are coming off a massive win against the Texans, hold a two-game lead in the division and have another big game to look toward next week against the Browns. But, I’m all in on the Jaguars finishing the season strong, and maybe even making some noise in the playoffs.
What I don’t see happening is a team that stunk while saddled with a one-legged quarterback, and got markedly worse when said QB went down with a major injury, pulling an upset. Now, with an undrafted free agent in Jake Browning at the helm of this offense, I think anyone who makes an NFL pick in favor of Cincy is a lunatic.
The Jaguars enter Week 13 as the most profitable team in the league against the NFL spread at 8-3, with a return on investment (ROI) of 39.83%. The Bengals are D-tier at 4-6-1 ATS with bettors down -2.65 units in the last 12 weeks.
You know how people say that a certain team is one you “should not sleep on?” Even with the spread nearing double digits, I’m grabbing blankets, pillows, a sleep mask, and a CPAP machine before I snuggle up and sleep deep on the Bengals.

Questions of the Day
Which team is most likely to score a touchdown in the first quarter between the Bengals and Jaguars?
With Joe Burrow out, the Bengals’ offense will run about as smooth as a Yugo with sugar in the gas tank. The Jaguars are a better NFL bet to score the first TD on Monday Night Football.
What NFL player prop today offers the best chance to win for Bengals vs Jaguars?
Backup QB Jake Browning throwing an interception against a stingy Jaguars secondary full of size, speed, and hands.
