Bet On Browns at Jaguars: Expert Betting Prediction
NFL Week 12
Online sports betting is all the craze these days. Have you caught the fever? NFL betting is especially exciting this time of year, as playoff races heat up and contenders show their stuff. The Browns are primed for another postseason run, while the Jaguars are playing for pride alone.
The most recent NFL odds in our sportsbook show Cleveland as seven-point road favorites in Jacksonville. The Jaguars have lost nine straight games after upsetting the Colts in Week 1. Cleveland squeaked out a 22-17 victory over Philadelphia last week, and has won three of its previous four. Let’s exploit this betting matchup for what it’s worth.

Game: Cleveland Browns (7-3) at Jacksonville Jaguars (1-9) Location: TIAA Bank Field Time: Sunday, Nov. 29 at 1:00 p.m. ET Television: CBS |
NFL Betting Lines
Team | Point Spread | Moneyline | Over/Under | Team Total |
Browns | -7 | -300 | 49 ½ | 28 |
Jaguars | +7 | +250 | 49 ½ | 21 |
Moneyline: Browns -300 (7-3) | Jaguars +250 (1-9)
If it weren’t for the Jets, the Jaguars would be the worst team in the league, hands down. I don’t envision Jacksonville’s nine-game losing streak ending against a powerful playoff-caliber Cleveland team. The Browns’ offense will finally get some decent weather this week and should be able to unload on the Jaguars.
Jacksonville will likely be playing without stud DE Josh Allen, and RBs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt are scary enough. Only eight teams allowed more rushing yards than the Jags, so Chubb and Hunt might each eclipse 100 yards here. This bread and butter running foundation sets up QB Baker Mayfield to dine on meat and potatoes downfield.
Pick: Browns to win
Point Spread: Browns -7 (4-6) | Jets -7 (4-6)
Neither team has been especially impressive in 2020 ATS, but the Browns are in prime position to cover. As mentioned above, Mayfield and the Cleveland offense are in line for a productive day in Jacksonville. Meanwhile, Jaguars’ QB Jake Luton was awful in the 27-3 beatdown Jacksonville took against Pittsburgh last week.
Luton completed less than half of his passes, going 16-of-37 for 151 yards and throwing four interceptions. Gardner Minshew may return this week, but no matter who is behind center, they have a steep mountain to climb. The Jaguars are pretty terrible, overall.
Pick: Browns -7
Over/Under 49½ points: Browns (5-5) | Jaguars (5-5)
We should see the Browns return to the high-scoring madness we saw between Weeks 2-7, before the weather-affected Ohio games. Cleveland will almost score 50 points all their own this week, but Jacksonville will squeeze out some points too. Expect TIAA Bank Field to gush points all over downtown Jacksonville, flooding the streets and filling your wallets.
Pick: Over 49½ points
Final Score: Browns 44, Jaguars 23

What would stage theater be without props? Hollow. It’s the same with sports betting. Prop bets add to viewing enjoyment exponentially and let you get creative on your betting slips. Here are a few opportunities to build a winning sheet for this Week 12 matchup between the Browns and Jaguars.
Over 5½ Total TDs In The Game (-115)
I’m predicting the Browns to score at least five touchdowns by themselves, with the Jaguars chipping in two or three. If you’re drinking the Kool-Aid I’ve got on tap, this is a solid bet. A wager of $25 here will pay out a total of $46.74 when it hits.
A Team To Score 3 Unanswered Times: Yes (-220)
Again, not the sexiest bet out there, but one with a high probability of success. We want to win!!! How much or how little we win is immaterial. Cleveland should take it to Jacksonville hard, the Browns beating up the Jaguars in multiple, consecutive bursts of fury.
Team Scoring 1st Wins Game: No (+140)
Here’s a decent return on your investment. The only team that scores less first quarter points than Cleveland in 2020 is New England. Last week the Browns were shut out in the first frame, but beat the Eagles. The Jaguars were up 3-0 vs the Steelers in Week 11, and went on to get demolished 27-3. Expect something similar here. A $33 wager wins you an additional $46.20 to play with. Buena suerte, mis amigos!
