2. Broncos Can Step Up Defensively
Denver has been very good defensively all season, except for last week at Baltimore when it allowed five touchdowns.
Expect coach Sean Payton and his defensive assistants to make some adjustments. The Broncos are tied for second in the league with 31 sacks and allowed fewer than 20 points in six of seven games before last week.

Nix has Courtland Sutton (36 catches, 499 yards) and Mahomes was granted another All-Star receiver in DeAndre Hopkins in a trade a few weeks ago. Hopkins had eight receptions for 86 yards and two scores on Monday.

If Mahomes is out due to an ankle injury, that would change everything. Check late NFL news for his status, but he rarely sits out with this type of injury. Five or six total touchdowns will likely do the trick.
