McConkey has monopolized the Chargers’ passing game. He’s caught more passes (58) than his teammates have been targeted. Tight end Will Dissly has the next-most targets on the team at 53, with 41 being receptions. And we can’t bank on Johnston with his 41.3% reception rate.

We also have to talk about their red-zone dependability. The Chiefs will not allow big plays here, so expect the Chargers to have to slowly make their way to get to the 20-yard-line.

Patrick Mahomes is having another ho-hum season judging by his NFL stats. He’s thrown 19 touchdowns but has 11 interceptions.

The Chargers have made 13 interceptions this season, which ranks fourth in the NFL. They picked off Kirk Cousins four times last week. We only need one interception against Mahomes, which is something the Chargers can do for our NFL predictions.
