Moneyline:

Kansas City Chiefs (9-1) |  Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-4)

Kansas City is on a roll, having won five straight games while putting 33 points or more on the scoreboard in each of its last four. On the flip side of the coin, Tom Brady and the Buccaneers have dropped two of three while getting spanked by the Saints in Week 9 and getting man-handled in their 27-24 home loss against the LA Rams in a game that definitely wasn’t as close as the score indicates. More importantly, Brady has been picked off a whopping five times in those two losses and will face a Chiefs defense that ranks eighth against the pass and seventh in points allowed. This Week 12 interconference clash just looks like a game that Kansas City should win, even if it does turn into a shootout.

Pick: Chiefs to Win

Point Spread: Chiefs -3½ (6-4) | Buccaneers +3½  (5-6)

The Chiefs are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games against a team with a winning home record, 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record, and a bankroll-boosting 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 games overall.

It’s nice that Tampa Bay has gone 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight-up loss, but the Buccaneers are also an uninspiring 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 games as an underdog, 2-7-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 2-9-2 ATS in their last 13 home games.

Pick: Kansas City to cover

Here is a look at the NFC playoff picture heading into Week 12!

Over/Under 56 points: Chiefs (5-5) | Buccaneers  (7-4)

The Chiefs are lighting up the scoreboard having scored 33 points or more in four consecutive games, but Tampa Bay has been limited to 25 points or less in three of its last four games. Three of Kansas City’s last four games have topped this game’s 56-point total while three of Tampa Bay’s last four have finished under this figure. I think the under is the way to go in this Week 12 affair, though I’ll be the first to admit, it’s going to be a close call.

Pick: Under

Final Score: Kansas City 30 Tampa Bay 24

Kansas City Chiefs at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Props Predictions

Total TDs in the Game Over/Under 6½

Over 6½ TDs Ev

Under 6½ TDs -130

I’m going with the Chiefs to score three touchdowns and three field goals while Tampa Bay puts an identical three TDs on the board and one field goal.

A Team to Score Three Unanswered Times

Yes -300

No +225

I don’t see either team scoring three consecutive times with Kansas City ranking seventh in points allowed (21.4 ppg) and Tampa Bay ranking 10th in points allowed (23.0 ppg).

Team to Score the Longest TD

Chiefs -135

Buccaneers +105

The Buccaneers have a trio of star wide receivers in Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown, but Kansas City has their own dangerous trio in Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and Clyde Edwards-Helaire. More importantly, Patrick Mahomes has a much stronger arm and can heave the ball down the field with a flick of his wrist while Tom Brady has definitely lost a few MPHs off his fastball!
