Commanders vs Saints Picks: 3 Reasons to Bet on Washington ATS
1. Who Will Start at Quarterback for the Saints vs Commanders?
New Orleans has remained non-committal when it comes to naming a starting quarterback against Washington. What we do know is that Carr is sidelined and will not play in this matchup. The Saints will roll with Jake Haener or Spencer Rattler as the team’s QB1 versus Commanders.

“We all met, staff-wise. Both Jake (Haener) and Spencer (Rattler) bring certain attributes to the table,” Rizzi told NFL news outlets. “They’re very similar in a lot of ways, so game-plan wise, it doesn’t change much.”
Thanks for nothing, coach.
2. The Commanders Have Hit a Small Skid Since Hot Start
Washington once looked like contenders with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. The Commanders have hit a bit of a rough patch in recent weeks, losing two of their last three games. Overall, the Commanders have rewarded bettors by going 8-4-1 ATS in the NFL lines this season.

Washington is coming off a decisive 42-19 win versus Tennessee. Daniels is still ballin’ out with four total touchdowns, three passing and one rushing, against the Titans.
As for the Saints, the team has won three of the team’s last four games. New Orleans is coming off a 14-11 win versus the Giants, but Carr was under center during the game.
The last time the Saints were without Carr the team went with Rattler against the Chargers. New Orleans was dominated 26-8 in the Oct. 27 matchup as the Saints failed to score a touchdown.

3. Commanders vs Saints ATS Pick: Bet Washington -8
The sizable spread at the BetUS Sportsbook makes the Commanders look awfully enticing to take. Yet, this feels like a get-right spot for the Commanders given the uncertainty at quarterback for the Saints.
This is a homecoming of sorts with Daniels returning to the state of Louisiana. The star quarterback played at LSU in nearby Baton Rouge.

Washington should be able to put up points, and we have seen New Orleans struggle to score without Carr. As scary as it is to bet online on an NFL team to cover an 8-point spread, the Commanders are the right side in this matchup.
Bet This Pick: Commanders -8 (Ev)
