NFC Divisional Game Odds: Cowboys vs 49ers Props
- Dalton Schultz Longest Reception, O/U 16½
- Trevon Diggs Total Tackles + Assists, O/U 3½
- Brock Purdy Total Completions, O/U 19½
- Brandon Aiyuk Anytime Touchdown +200
Dalton Schultz Longest Reception, O/U 16½
Schultz was the Cowboys’ No. 2 receiver this season with 57 catches for 577 yards, which works out to a healthy 10.1 yards per reception. A big-play receiver he wasn’t as his longest play of the season was 30 yards. He did have nine plays of 17 yards or longer this season, including three in last week’s Wild Card win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 49ers did a good job of limiting tight ends this season, allowing 8.88 yards per reception this season.
- Pick: Under 16½ (Even)
Trevon Diggs Total Tackles + Assists, O/U 3½
Diggs is an elite cornerback with stellar coverage skills, but a tackling machine he is not. The 24-year-old averaged just 3.37 tackles + assists this season with six games with five or more tackles + assists. If ever there was a game he needs to step up, this is it as the Cowboys try to contain the 49ers’ Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk.
- Picks: Over 3½ (+135)
Brock Purdy Total Completions, O/U 19½
Purdy, the seventh-round draft choice, has taken the NFL by storm with his play in leading the 49ers to six wins as the starting quarterback, but overall he hasn’t been asked to throw it very much. In those six games, Purdy has averaged 18.3 completions, but only has two games with more than 18 completions. Unless they fall behind early, the 49ers will likely try to protect Purdy from the Cowboys’ ferocious pass rush, which means more running the ball.
- Picks: Under 19½ (-110)
Brandon Aiyuk Anytime Touchdown +200
Aiyuk and tight end George Kittle were the top touchdown scorers for the 49ers this season with eight and 11 apiece. Aiyuk has big play ability as evidenced by his team-high 17 plays of 20 or more yards this season and he might be able to get one in this game as the Cowboys focus on McCaffrey and Samuel. The 24-year-old is due to score as he has just one touchdown in his last five games, including last week’s Wild Card game victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
- Picks: Yes (+200)
