Picking a side against the spread between the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers for their Sunday Night Football contest this week can be challenging, so let’s take a look at the best game props for the game. Read on to get my NFL predictions for the top prop bets to make for the Cowboys vs Steelers matchup.
Dallas’ defense is severely banged up with DeMarcus Lawrence and Micah Parsons both sidelined. The unit already looked suspect when at full strength, so there could be plenty of opportunities for the Steelers to exploit the Cowboys defense.
The Cowboys will also be without playmaking wide receiver Brandin Cooks, meaning other receivers will need to step up.
Let’s take a look at my NFL prop betting breakdown of this Sunday Night Football matchup.
3 SNF Props To Bet For Cowboys vs Steelers
1. Cowboys WR KaVontae Turpin Over 17½ Receiving Yards (-113)
Cowboys playmaker KaVontae Turpin has shown flashes this season, making five catches for 55 yards through four games. With Cooks sidelined, we could see multiple Cowboys receivers more involved in the team’s offense.

Turpin’s receiving yards prop is set relatively low at 17½ at BetUS Sportsbook. We are expecting Turpin to be utilized in more receiving sets with Cooks out, so I like the over on Turpin’s receiving yards.
Bet On KaVontae Turpin Over 17½ Receiving Yards (-113)
2. Steelers QB Justin Fields Over 48½ Rushing Yards (-115)
The Cowboys’ rushing defense has been a hot mess this season. Things could go from bad to worse with Parsons and Lawrence both sidelined.
Pittsburgh once appeared to have a quarterback controversy between Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. With Wilson sidelined, however, Fields appears to have firm control of the QB1 spot.
“No, not really,” Fields said. “I’m just going to keep doing what I’ve been doing. Whatever decision (Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin) makes, he makes. I can only control what I do on the field.”
Fields has topped 50 rushing yards in two of the first four Steelers games this season. Given this juicy matchup, take the over on Fields rushing yards as one of the best SNF player props when you bet online.

3. Cowboys WR Jalen Tolbert Over 36½ Receiving Yards (-115)
If anyone benefits from Cooks’ injury, it is likely to be Jalen Tolbert. The wideout is already tied for third in targets on the team with 19.

Tolbert posted 13 receptions for 160 yards and one touchdown through four games. The wideout is already on pace to have his best NFL season in year three.
Expect Dak Prescott to look Tolbert’s way more than normal with Cooks sidelined. Take the over on Tolbert’s receiving yards as one of the best NFL picks for player props for SNF.
Bet On Jalen Tolbert Over 36½ Receiving Yards (-115)
