There are some intriguing NBA and NHL players to keep an eye on for these unique prop and parlay options.

The Chiefs are listed by the NFL betting lines as the two-point underdogs against San Francisco in Super Bowl LVIII. The game is set for Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET at Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders. The Super Bowl will be televised by CBS.

Keep on reading for some solid prop bets this week as Super Sunday is quickly approaching.

Roll with McCaffrey

It is hard to go wrong picking McCaffrey to score the first touchdown in the Super Bowl.

He scored 21 touchdowns in 16 games during the regular season and added four more in the first two playoff games. McCaffrey already has more postseason touchdowns in his career playoff contests than his father Ed recorded in his 14 playoff games.

There are +150 odds for either McCaffrey to score the first touchdown in the Super Bowl or Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics to score the first basket in Sunday’s 2 p.m. ET game against the Miami Heat.

Tatum is 26th in the NBA with an average of 6.2 points scored in the first quarter of games.

Another option is for Montreal winger Cole Caufield to score the first goal against the St. Louis Blues on Sunday.

Caufield headed into the weekend with goals in seven of his last nine games as he could very well open the scoring against the Blues. That carries +200 odds according to the BetUS sportsbook.

Pick: San Francisco’s Christian McCaffrey to have the first TD in the Super Bowl or Montreal’s Cole Caufield has the first goal versus St. Louis.

Will Kittle or Butler Come Through?

Back to the NBA, Miami’s Jimmy Butler is 16th in the NBA in first-quarter scoring. He has a well-deserved reputation as playing some of his best basketball under the bright lights.

Before the Super Bowl kicks off, more than a few viewers will be tuned in to watch the NBA clash between Eastern Conference title contenders Miami and Boston so it won’t be too surprising to see Butler score the first basket against the rival Celtics.

Just in case, 49ers tight end George Kittle is priced at +900 to be the first touchdown scorer in the Super Bowl. If either of those things happens, those who bet online can cash out at +400.

Pick: George Kittle scores the first touchdown in the Super Bowl or Jimmy Butler has the first basket against the Celtics on Sunday +400.

Kelce Could Make Swift Trip to End Zone

Yes, America there is more to Travis Kelce than just being the boyfriend of Taylor Swift.

Kelce is second only to Hall of Famer Jerry Rice in career postseason receiving yards. He has a record 156 catches in the playoffs, five more than the legendary Rice.

If Kelce scores a touchdown in the Super Bowl, he would join Rice as the only players in NFL history with at least 20 postseason touchdown catches.

No receiver or tight end in this year’s Super Bowl has better odds to be the first touchdown scorer than the Chiefs’ star tight end as that carries a Moneyline of +600.

There are +140 odds for Kelce to score the first touchdown in the Super Bowl and Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to have the game’s first basket against Sacramento.

Only Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid, who is currently injured, averages more points in the first quarter of games than Gilgeous-Alexander. That carries +140 odds.

There would be a better payout for the same prop with the exception of Sacramento’s De’Aaron Fox taking the place of Gilgeous-Alexander. Fox averages 3.7 fewer points in the first quarter than the OKC star so there is a little more risk involved for those not sold on Kelce being the first touchdown score. If that bet comes through, there is a +325 payout so it is a tempting option.

Pick: Either Kansas City’s Travis Kelce will score the first touchdown in the Super Bowl or Oklahoma City guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will have the first basket in Sunday’s game versus Sacramento +140
