Cross-Sport Parlay: Bet Tripleheader of Champions

WNBA, Boxing, NFL Titlists Make for Sweet Payout

In a loaded weekend for sports, it can be really difficult to find the best bets for the Sept. 29 weekend. But have no fear. To avoid a brain cramp from going through countless matchups, go straight to the champions. From the reigning WNBA champions on Friday night to an undisputed boxing king on Saturday to the Super Bowl champs on Sunday, this three-legger should make for a prize-winning parlay.

Three Best Lines To Parlay Beginning on Friday

NFL: Chiefs Will Dunk All Over the Jets

Capping off the parlay are the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Kansas City has strongly rebounded from its Week 1 loss with two impressive showings. On one hand, the Chiefs beat the Jacksonville Jaguars via a gritty and defensive performance. And on the other, they blew the doors off the Chicago Bears. That shows a team that can get it done via any means.

Visiting the New York Jets, the Chiefs are taking on a team in turmoil. The defense is unhappy with their coach’s continued support of Zach Wilson. That’s not a good sign as the Jets could be compromised. This team might just quit midgame once Wilson starts throwing the game away.

And even if the Jets’ D shows up, we’re confident that Wilson will not outplay Patrick Mahomes. Whether this is Chiefs by 30 or by three points, our sportsbook favors them at -450 for a good reason. They make for one of the best parlay bets today.

NFL Pick: Kansas City Chiefs (-450)

WNBA: Aces to Complete Sweep of Wings

The defending WNBA champions have slept their way through most of the season and yet are one win away from the WNBA Finals. The Las Vegas won’t lose this game, even if the Dallas Wings are desperate and in a 2-0 series hole. The Wings are a nice feel-good story but are a one-trick pony: If they can’t score efficiently, they are toast.

Even if Dallas gets it going, the Aces have the potential to still outscore them. The Wings have a 106.8 offensive rating at home. That’s the third-best in the WNBA and is mainly why they are 13-9 as hosts. But the Aces have a 109.9 offensive rating as a visitor.

On top of that, the Wings have no answer for A’ja Wilson. She scored 34 and 30 points in the two games against Dallas while shooting over 64% from the field. Meanwhile, Arike Ogunbowale has a tendency to shoot Dallas out of games. Bet Las Vegas as one of the best WNBA betting lines for Sep. 29.

WNBA Pick: Las Vegas Aces (-280)

Boxing: Canelo Starches Charlo in a Mismatch

The “superfight” on Saturday is all sizzle and no steak. We admire Jermell Charlo’s fearlessness in stepping up two weight classes to take on Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. But there are weight classes in boxing for a reason. Canelo has fought up to 175 pounds while Charlo typically weighs in the mid-150s. This is a mismatch despite all the fanfare.

There are many talks about Canelo being “old” due to having 63 pro fights and having competed for over 18 years. Even if that is the case, he’s still got the size, power and experience edge over Charlo. Unless Charlo can knock him out within the first four rounds, Canelo will slowly break him down.

And as far as Charlo is concerned, he’s still too hittable. He also has not taken a shot from a bruiser like Canelo. As far as the Boxing odds for Sep. 29 weekend, parlaying Canelo’s line at -450 is a solid bet online.

Boxing Pick: Canelo Alvarez (-450)
