Dolphins, Eagles Offer Two Strong Options for Week 4 NFL Teaser

The spread on the Eagles is too high for my taste, so I want to take it from -8 to -2. Meanwhile, the Dolphins are the underdog at Buffalo, and I like their odds at +8½ a lot better than +2½.

NFL Week 4 Teaser Leg No. 1: Dolphins +8½

The Dolphins shocked the NFL world in Week 3 with a thorough dissection of the Denver Broncos that culminated in 70 points and over 700 yards of total offense. The Dolphins won’t put up numbers like that every week, but they do have the momentum, talent, and speed to break some season scoring or yardage records.

On a side note, one thing that didn’t get talked about enough in the wake of the Dolphins’ 70-20 victory is that the offense was missing their second-best playmaker, Jalen Waddle. The wideout spent the week on concussion protocol and was cleared to practice about 30 minutes ago. It’s as if this offense wasn’t stacked enough.

I think the Dolphins win this game outright, but if you want to play it safe, there isn’t a better option on the board than Miami +8½ as the second of our free NFL teaser picks.

NFL Week 4 Teaser Leg No. 2: Eagles (-2)

The second of our NFL teaser of the week picks is for the Eagles to get a revenge win over the Commanders after Washington ended Philly’s perfect season in 2022 in Week 10. The Commanders are 2-1 in their last three games in Philly, but I don’t think an outright upset is in the books. However, I believe the spread is slightly generous in favor of Philly at -8.

I already made one play on the adjusted spread for this game, but I want to add another on the teaser line to squeeze as much value out of this NFL East matchup as possible.

The Eagles look stronger every week, and all those new coaching hires are finally starting to show their stuff. It will likely be another week, but the Eagles will eventually move back into the elite category of NFL teams and not require adjusted NFL lines to be a good bet.
