Dolphins, Lions, Buccaneers Prime-Time Parlay Picks

How can you not get excited for what’s about to come? Just with the name “Super Wild Card Weekend,” I’m already jumping with excitement from all the action that’s about to pop off this weekend.

For now, though, there are six games coming so let’s focus on the three hitting the prime-time schedule.

Between the Miami Dolphins paying the Kansas City Chiefs a visit, the Detroit Lions finally hosting a playoff game at home after 30 years and the Philadelphia Eagles heading to Florida where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be waiting, there’s enough action for all online betting fans to get their fix.

As we wait for these three games to start on Saturday, Sunday and Monday night, here are my three expert NFL picks for a top-caliber playoff parlay that should not be missed.

In Freezing Cold, Pick Dolphins ATS

Various NFL news outlets have been echoing the possibility of Saturday’s Wild Card game between the Chiefs and Dolphins being one of the coldest games ever played.

The weather forecast for Saturday night in KC is already expecting the temperature to be in the single digits, meaning it could even drop to around zero degrees or below at the time of kickoff.

Can you imagine how incredibly hard Miami must be kicking themselves right about now for dropping the AFC East title and blowing the chance to have this game played at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday?

With the temperature expected to be at around 65 degrees on Saturday night in Miami, that reads like a furnace compared to what will go down at Arrowhead.

Anyways, let’s talk football.

Even if Miami might not have enough firepower on defense right now, the Dolphins team still look much better head to head than KC.

As the Chiefs’ offense continues to struggle and severely underwhelm, all while losing three of its last four home games, this feels like Miami’s perfect chance to score a commanding win on the road and give the AFC playoff picture a good little shakeup.

Between Raheem Mostert coming back into the lineup for Miami, plus Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill manning Miami’s passing offense and Jalen Ramsey spearheading Miami’s secondary, I’m liking the Dolphins more and more.

Once Miami’s defense is able to keep Travis Kelce under siege, KC’s climb to a win will be as steep as the weather will be cold.

So, just for kicks, how about a Dolphins NFL betting lines upset to kick-start your parlay strategy?

NFL Pick: Dolphins -4 ½

Lions at Home in Playoffs? Can You Say Surefire Bet?

There are three things that are more than certain in this game between the Rams and Lions.

One, the atmosphere at Detroit’s Ford Field will be all kinds of electric.

Two, there’s not one NFL betting odds fan that wouldn’t kill to be at this game to get a feel of what it’s like to watch a team that’s been waiting 30 years for a home playoff game to happen.

Lastly, with Detroit being the best ATS team this season, holding a 12-5-0 record, how can you not take the Lions here?

I can already envision this game being an offensive shootout between two of the best offenses in the league.

But, with home-field advantage and Detroit establishing a strong running game early to avoid running into LA’s secondary that much, taking the Lions to cover stands out as one of the best football bets in NFL lines this week.

Yes, trying to contain Aaron Donald is going to be a gargantuan feat, but if Detroit managed to win the NFC North title and bring a playoff game home once again after 30 years, I’ll bet my house on the Lions if necessary.

NFL Pick: Lions -3

I Smell an Upset Brewing in Tampa

Ever since the matchup was set in the NFC playoff bracket, Philadelphia has been a three-point road favorite against Tampa Bay.

Just like the other time this season in which the Eagles visited the Buccaneers, they will be coming into this game as the favorites in our NFL betting spread. But unlike that Week 3 visit and subsequent 25-11 win. I’m not sold on Philadelphia cruising to a win here.

As a matter of fact, I’m all for Tampa Bay going for it all here and knocking the lackluster Eagles out of the playoffs.

Now that the Bucs have found their stride offensively, with Baker Mayfield leading the charge, and with the defense coming off a shutout win – even if it was against the Carolina Panthers – I say take the team that actually managed to finish the season winning.

It’s a much better bet than going with the overly hyped squad that dropped five of its last six games, including losses against the Arizona Cardinals and New York Giants.

With Philadelphia coming into this game riding on such a negative streak, plus with injury issues for Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, it’s best to take Tampa Bay ATS and not look back.

NFL Pick: Buccaneers +3
