Falcons-Lions Game Offers Juicy NFL Props
The undefeated Atlanta Falcons find themselves as underdogs in our NFL odds against the Detroit Lions in their first road game of the season.
The Lions have had a challenging schedule with a road season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs followed by hosting the Seattle Seahawks. Atlanta has had the benefit of not having to leave the ATL through the first two weeks.

Before we discuss the best pick against the spread, let’s explore the best NFL prop bets for the Falcons-Lions Week 3 matchup.
Atlanta Total Field Goals Over 1.5 (-118)
Touchdowns are going to be hard to come by for the Falcons in front of what should be a raucous Ford Field. The good news is Atlanta has one of the best NFL field goal kickers in Younghoe Koo. Take the over 1.5 Falcons field goals as one of the best NFL prop bets for Sept. 24.

Sam LaPorta to Score a Touchdown (+200)
The Lions are dealing with numerous injuries, including two of their key playmakers: Amon-Ra St. Brown and David Montgomery. Both players are in danger of missing this game, and even if they do play, it is difficult to imagine either offensive weapon being at full strength.
Through his fist two career starts Sam Laporta is proving to be a day one impact player

Enter rookie tight end Sam LaPorta, who already has 11 targets through the first two games. With the potential for an expanded role given the injuries, look for LaPorta to score his first touchdown as we continue our NFL prop betting bonanza.
Cordarrelle Patterson to Score a Touchdown (+550)
I mentioned this prop bet last week, but Cordarrelle Patterson ended up not playing against the Green Bay Packers. The good news is Patterson is not even listed on the injury report for Week 3.

Bijan Robinson may be the one going viral on social media, but Atlanta plans to use multiple running backs throughout the season. The upside for Patterson is the playmaker can be utilized as both running back and receiver.
These are juicy odds for Patterson to score a touchdown at +550.
Jahmyr Gibbs to Score 2 Touchdowns (+350)
This one is more of a lottery ticket, but I think we are headed for Jahmyr Gibbs’ breakout game. Detroit has been conservative in their usage of Gibbs, but Montgomery is trending toward not playing against the Falcons.
The odds for Gibbs to score one touchdown do not offer a great return at -143. Let’s up the risk by taking Gibbs to score two or more touchdowns at +350.
Lions rookie RB Jahmyr Gibbs led the ENTIRE NFL in Week 1 with 6 forced missed tackles while rushing the football.
Gibbs did this on only 7 carries 🤯

Falcons vs Lions Betting Odds
Falcons vs Lions Pick: Bet Detroit to Cover the Spread
As much as I would like to back my hometown team, the Falcons are leaving the comforts of Waffle House and lemon pepper wings for their first road game in Motor City. Atlanta has not had the most challenging schedule, with wins over the Panthers and Packers.
Even with the growing list of injuries in Detroit, I think the tested Lions will make it tough on Desmond Ridder. Smart money is on the Lions to cover the 3-point spread against the Falcons.
NFL Pick: Detroit Lions -3 (-120)
