As the race for the playoffs continues to heat up, our NFL predictions for today are centered on the action coming out of the AFC West, where all four teams will be in action this Sunday.
With the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders squaring off in Vegas, the Denver Broncos playing host to the Cleveland Browns at Mile High and the Los Angeles Chargers headlining Sunday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens, the action is set.
So, who are we looking at as the top AFC West prop bets to be backing?
Here’s a trio of receiver-heavy NFL expert picks to make an extra buck or two after Thanksgiving.
Perine is a RB, but Take Receiving Prop
As I just said, I know Samaje Perine is a running back, but, given that his Broncos team will be facing one of the strongest defenses in the league, led by Myles Garrett, one of our NFL MVP odds dark horses, I’m sure Russell Wilson will end up using Perine’s speed and talents as a pass catcher.
Every time Denver has faced a defense that excels at pressuring QBs and stuffing the run game, Perine has stepped up as a viable option for short passes and strong gains after the catch. I’m all for taking Perine’s over in receiving yards, especially considering the rusher has cleared the over in six of the 10 games he has played this season.
So, when looking for a Broncos NFL prop betting pick to ride with, take Perine’s over in receiving yards as 19.5 seems like an easy mark to top.

Adams Will Always Be a Lock for Betting Fans
It doesn’t matter when or where you read this, Davante Adams will always be one of the best wide receivers in the league. His ability to always find room down the field and power through as many coverages as he has on him to gain yards is one of the best in the pros.
Yes, maybe Adams hasn’t been putting up his usual top-tier numbers this season, but considering all of the changes his Raiders squad has gone through, I would still trust Adams with the ball more than any other receiver in the AFC West.
Adams faces the fourth-best defense against the pass in the league in Kansas City, so his targets might not be as plentiful as in other games. For a player like him, though, all it takes are three or four strong plays to easily eclipse 60+ receiving yards.
Considering that, and the fact our sportsbook is offering a sweet prop with his over in receiving yards, with the mark at 62.5 yards, take Adams’ over and make your peace.
Will Kelce Shine in Vegas? I Say Yes!
Just like Las Vegas trusts Adams for all pass plays, for the Chiefs, and especially Patrick Mahomes, the vast majority of his passing game goes through finding and hitting TE Travis Kelce. Even if Mahomes has started to make it a point to spread the ball amongst his receivers, if there’s something all NFL betting lines fans can trust, it is the fact that if Kelce is open, the ball will always go to him.
With the Raiders allowing an average of 210 passing yards per game, the stage could easily be set for Kelce to pop off. With an average of 71.6 receiving yards per game in his career against the Raiders, take Kelce’s over in receiving yards in this game and go for a sure buck.
