Hurry up and Bet Week 15: Thursday Night Under, Falcons ATS

If you want to bet on the NFL, you better do it early every week. As we advance through the week, NFL betting lines move, so be sure that you get the best NFL odds to win your picks for the NFL this week – and every week, for that matter – before the market catches on. Getting the best number possible is vital because you could get a negative closing line value (CLV) if you wait.

Locking in your spread and total bets early could ultimately be the difference when things are wrapped up on Sunday. It’s not as crucial to lock in NFL prop bets this early, but getting your bets against the spread as soon as possible is prudent.

We still have a Monday Night Football game to play in Week 14 to cap off another exciting week, but we’re here to take an early look at the odds for Week 15 and give our predictions on NFL Week 15 games before the lines move.

Week 14 was another hectic one across the NFL. We still have a double dose to play on Monday night as the Giants and Packers and the Dolphins and Titans will battle it out (see My Best Anytime TD Bets for MNF Here), but I’m diving into next week’s schedule. The best NFL expert picks are always made early in the week.

Week 14 Recap

To recap Week 14, we saw the San Francisco 49ers continue to dominate with their 28-16 win over the Seattle Seahawks. The Denver Broncos bounced back after losing to the Texans and defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 24-7. The Dallas Cowboys crushed the Philadelphia Eagles 33-13 on Sunday night to push for the top spot in the NFC.

The Jacksonville Jaguars suffered another crushing loss, this time to the Cleveland Browns 31-27. Meanwhile, the Miami Dolphins cruised past the Washington Commanders. Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams couldn’t escape Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in an overtime thriller as the Ravens walked it off 37-31.

There was a fair share of upsets this week. Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears got the better of the Detroit Lions. The New England Patriots took down the Pittsburgh Steelers. The New York Jets shocked the Houston Texans and high-powered CJ Stroud.

The week’s biggest upset was the Buffalo Bills over the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead. Officiating is front and center following the game.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints took care of business against lesser opponents, knocking off the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers. If there’s anything for certain right now in the NFL, it’s the uncertainty on a week-to-week basis.

Looking ahead to NFL odds for Week 15, we’re attempting to get the best number for our picks for the NFL this week. Injuries have mounted for every team at this point in the season. Tracking injuries in the NFL is crucial, but I’ve done that work for you.

As it is every season, the quarterback position is front and center every week. Who will step up in Week 15? I’m here to give you my best NFL bets this week for Week 15.

Another Thursday Night Stinker

Unfortunately, we all have to watch another Thursday Night Football stinker. The Los Angeles Chargers will take on the Las Vegas Raiders to kick things off in Week 14. This total is already moving down, so hurry up and get on it now. I expect the majority of the money to be on the under here.

Justin Herbert fractured his index finger on his throwing hand and has been ruled out for this game and possibly longer. The Chargers’ offense looked broken without Herbert at the helm. EastonStick will take over under center and on the short week, I don’t expect the Chargers offense to get in sync with their new quarterback.

Los Angeles put just seven points on the board last week at home against the Broncos and scored 23 combined points over its previous three games.

The Raiders were just shut out at home 3-0 and could be without running back Josh Jacobs, who limped off the field in great pain on Sunday. With the short turnaround, I’m not convinced he will be able to go. Las Vegas has scored more than 18 points just twice this season. Their defense has been playing exceptionally well under former Super Bowl champion linebacker and interim coach Antonio Pierce, ranking 13th in DVOA over the last five weeks.

Thursday nights have a strong history of poor football, and totals of 40 or less over the last dozen seasons have hit at a 79% clip. This one should be ugly.

NFL Pick: Las Vegas Raiders vs Los Angeles Chargers Under 33½ Points

Falcons to Bounce Back

The Falcons are taking on the Carolina Panthers in Week 15 and will be eager to stay in the hunt for the NFC South division crown. Atlanta is coming off a tough loss at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but it should be able to run all over the Panthers’ porous run defense next Sunday.

I love getting this at 3. I expect this to move above the key number as the week progresses, so lock this one in now. Carolina ranks dead last against the run, and the Falcons are the most run-heavy team in the NFL. Atlanta drafted Bijan Robinson in the first round, and he should have one of the best performances of his young career next Sunday against Carolina, which is last in EPA allowed per rush.

Trusting Desmond Ridder isn’t ideal, but we’re counting on the Falcons running game in this spot. Fire on the Falcons now.

NFL Pick: Carolina Panthers vs Atlanta Falcons -3

Questions Of The Day

Will the Chargers be the favorites on the TNF?

The Raiders are currently the favorites on TNF in Week 15.

Will Trevor Lawrence score a Touchdown on SNF?

Lawrence will not likely score a touchdown as he is battling with a high ankle sprain, and the Ravens have one of the best defenses in the NFL.
