1. Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence Out for Season
If you’ve turned on any of those TV shows with people yelling, you know the hit from Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair on Trevor Lawrence that made NFL news has been widely debated. The defender has been suspended for three games, and Lawrence’s season is likely over.
Jacksonville announced that Lawrence has been placed on injured reserve and there are also reports that he will undergo shoulder surgery, the quarterback’s season. Jaguars fans should get used to seeing Mac Jones as the team’s temporary QB1 to close the season.

2. Both Titans and Jaguars Heading Toward High Draft Pick
The Titans have been ever so slightly better than the Jaguars this season but not by much. Both of the franchises are heading toward a high draft pick.
I don’t think this impacts betting on the NFL game, because current players have little motivation to lose games just to land a better draft spot. This is especially true given these future rookies will be looking to take the vets’ jobs.
