I thought the sky was going to fall to pieces over a week ago when the New York Jets managed to do the unthinkable and score a win against the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football. From riding infinite waves of hatred coming from NFL picks experts to finally playing like a functional football team, talk about a Halloween miracle.

Now though, as the Jets get ready for yet another season-making or season-breaking game on Sunday when they visit the red-hot Arizona Cardinals, my NFL predictions for today are not really favoring New York.

Yes, surprising coming from me, a die-hard Jets fan. But come on, even “Fireman Ed” can see the issue in blindly backing New York in a game like this.

With the Cardinals coming into the game as one-point home underdogs, what should bettors be focusing on this Sunday?

2 Best Jets vs. Cardinals Week 10 Betting Picks

1. Arizona Primed Betting ‘Upset’ in Near Pick’Em Game

How has a team that has allowed the fewest yards per play in the NFL been beaten six times this season? Don’t ask me, I’m just a fan of the team. Ask the Jets.

After scoring a season-saving win against the Texans, that’s already in the past. So what version of the team will NFL betting odds fans be treated to this Sunday?

I may be a fan of the team and love them to death, but I’m not blind or an idiot. The Jets have stunk it up on the road this season, winning only one of four games thus far. Meanwhile, the Cardinals have done their part at home, winning three out of five games. So, what would the intelligent NFL picks against the spread bet be here?

It’s dumbfounding that the Cardinals are online betting underdogs here. Kyler Murray and company have been playing some very good football. It’s much better than anything New York has shown thus far.

Again, leaving fanaticism aside and focusing exclusively on football, my first NFL expert pick today goes to Arizona’s moneyline. Riding on a three-game win streak and with their eyes set on separating themselves from their divisional competitors for the lead out west, this is Arizona’s game to win.

2. Even With Low Total, Bet Jets vs Cardinals Under

I liked what I saw from both team’s offenses in Week 9. The Jets finally looked like they got their act together, with Aaron Rodgers hitting Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams constantly while relying on Breece Hall to bring it with his rushing game.

On the other hand, Arizona gave Chicago’s defense a beating that the Bears willremember for quite some time, especially on the rushing side of the offense. Beating the Bears comfortably by 20, James Conner, Emari Demercado, and Trey Benson put on a clinic on how to torch an opposing defense against the run.

Still, there’s something iffy here. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I can’t trust both offenses to play as effective football as they did last week. Hence, for my second NFL prediction for this game, I say target the under in the total.

While the Jets have gained some much-needed momentum on offense after last week’s performance, it’s the same team that lost six games because it was unable to perform up to par offensively.

And as far as Arizona goes, New York’s defense, currently ranked fourth in the league, is clearly at a much higher level than Chicago’s. If the Jets’ offense fails to rise to the occasion again, it will be on the defense to try to stop Murray and the Cardinals from running away with the game.

This matchup has enough intrigue to be a potential game of the week. With the Cardinals bidding for first place in the NFC West and the Jets fighting to keep their season going, there’s plenty for fans to keep an eye for.

At the end of the day, though, if both teams fall victim to the pressure building around what’s expected, this could be a low-scoring, hard-fought affair. So again, if you want a strong NFL weekly prediction to target, take the under.

Bet on Total Under 46 ½ (-110)
