MNF Bailout Special: Best NFL Bets for GB vs NYG and TEN vs MIA

A doubleheader on Monday Night Football ends Week 14 when the Miami Dolphins take on the Tennessee Titans and the New York Giants host the Green Bay Packers. Both games start simultaneously, which is odd, but that means we can focus on prop betting both games at the same time. I’m all for convenience, so let’s get into the NFL picks for these games and make some Monday-night money.

Expect Levis to Struggle

Will Levis has the tools to someday develop into a mid-range NFL starting quarterback. But, as of now, he’s just another struggling rookie who is trying to figure out what adjustments need to be made to succeed at the pro level.

Week 14 brings a tough matchup for Levis with the Miami Dolphins, one of the NFL’s most talented and dangerous secondaries. Their season-long stats are decent, ranking them ninth in yards per pass (6.1) and yards per game (203.6) while also leading the NFL in sack rate (9.28%).

Miami’s good passing defense became great over the last four weeks, with CB Jalen Ramsey back from injury. Since his return, the Dolphins’ secondary has been one of the stingiest in football, allowing 15 or fewer points in three straight games and 17 or fewer in four of their last five.

Levis is a good player, but not worth a bet online to excel just yet. If the NFL line looks low at just 205.5 yards, that’s because it is. But not low in the sense that we can exploit it. It’s low because so has been Levis’ production. With just one game in his previous four hitting the 200-yard mark, it’s not a guarantee that Levis will come close to that mark on Monday.

NFL Expert Pick: Will Levis Under 205.5 Passing Yards (-118)

Wicks’ Role Growing in GB

Dontayvion Wicks may not be a household name, or one I was familiar with before last week, but the young wideout is making a name for himself in Green Bay, and the NFL odds for this prop seem to be overlooking that fact.

Right off the bat, Wicks has gone over this modest total in four straight games. Wicks managed to go over 31.5 yards in two of those games on just one catch. One play, one wager, and one win.

We can’t assume that Wicks will catch a 30+ yard pass again on Monday night, but with how bad the Giants‘ defense has been playing, it certainly is not out of the question. With an average of 6.7 yards per pass and 228.3 yards per game, the Giants passing defense is bottom-tier and should allow Wicks enough space to keep his streak alive.

With Christian Watson out, Wicks will take over as the second outside receiver for Green Bay. He already saw a 60% snap share in other games Watson missed with his dodgy hamstring. Now that he’s seeing targets, too, expect a strong finish to the year for this wideout.

NFL Expert Pick: Dontayvion Wicks Over 31.5 Receiving Yards (-143)
