The NFL schedulemakers have lined up two games to cap off Week 14 on Monday night. Both games kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET. The New York Giants will battle Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers meanwhile, Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins play host to the Tennessee Titans. I’m back with a breakdown of each game and giving my best NFL bets today.
Giants vs Packers
The Packers are back to .500 following their upset win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football in Week 13. Green Bay is 6-6 and is one of the hottest teams in the NFL since November. Green Bay has an excellent opportunity to stay in the win column and help its path to a playoff spot when the Packers take on the Giants at MetLife Stadium.
New York is 4-8 and has won two straight games with Tommy DeVito under center. Big Blue’s season has been extremely turbulent, but the undrafted rookie quarterback has somehow led the team to back-to-back wins.
The Packers are undefeated in December since Matt LaFleur became the head coach. Green Bay is 16-0 in December during his tenure. Jordan Love is showing the world why the Packers drafted him in the first round in 2020.
The NFL odds have the Packers as 7-point favorites on the road. The total is just 36½ as the Giants offense is likely set to struggle against the Packers defense that hasn’t allowed more than 24 points in eight straight games.

Injuries are always front and center during the NFL season, and these matchups are no exception. The most significant injury news we’re waiting on in the Giants and Packers matchup is the status of running back Aaron Jones and wide receiver Christian Watson.
Watson has not practiced all week after he suffered a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter last Sunday. Jones has been a limited participant in practice all week and will likely be a game-time decision.
Dolphins vs Titans
About 1,300 miles South down I-95, the Dolphins will look to hold on to the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Miami is 9-3, and its historic offense is in another ideal spot on Monday night. The Dolphins lead the NFL in yards per play and red-zone efficiency, which we love as touchdown bettors. The Dolphins haven’t won the AFC East since 2008 but are primed to do so.
The NFL betting lines peg the Dolphins as 13 1/2-point favorites. Miami has won three straight games and is 5-0 at home. Tua Tagovailoa is 18-4 in his career at home, and the Dolphins are averaging over 38 points per game this season at home. Miami has covered the spread in six of its last seven games as a favorite of 7 or more points.
“Tyreek Hill is the best offensive player in the game and he tilts the field..
He has rare speed and rare quickness..

Tennessee is limping into Week 14 with a 4-8 record.
Tennessee suffered some significant injuries in its overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday, and the Titans will feel it against this incredible Dolphins offense.
All-Pro defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons suffered a knee injury that will keep him out. Derrick Henry was also heavily banged up following last week’s game, but is slated to be active.

Dontayvion Wicks (GB)
It’s nearly impossible for me to back any Giant to score. New York has averaged around 13 points per game, is the second-lowest mark in the NFL.
Green Bay has some intriguing pass catchers that I believe we can start to trust. Love has thrown multiple touchdown passes in four straight games. With Watson likely out, the Packers have fewer receiving options.
Over the last month, the Giants have allowed the second-most completions over 20 yards downfield. This is heavily due to the Giants’ lack of ability to pressure the quarterback. Big Blue is more like Little Blue as it ranks second to last in pressure rate over the last month. Wicks has at least 4 targets in five straight games. He is quietly earning a larger piece of the pie.
Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs should lead the receiving game for Green Bay, but Reed is dealing with an injury of his own that forced him to play nearly 50% less than his usual snaps last week. I like the price we’re getting with Wicks, who is in line for a larger role.
Jaylen Waddle *2 Units Banker
Miami has scored 70 points once, and might do it again on Monday night. The Dolphins have the highest implied team total in Week 14, and it’s warranted.
The Titans defense is certainly nothing to remember. Tennessee is 30th in defensive dropback EPA and has allowed the third-most receptions to wide receivers. Tua and the boys are about to burn. Again,
Let’s start with the man with the greatest touchdown dance in the history of touchdown dances. Waddle has 8 targets in three straight games but has taken a back seat to Tyreek Hill. Waddle has three touchdowns on the year but that’s about to change on Monday night.
The problem with Miami expected to score a ton of points is the odds for touchdown scorers aren’t great. There are plenty of guys to like for Miami, but the price we’re getting on most of them isn’t ideal. I’m firing up a banker on Waddle and will do the ridiculous dance around my living room on Monday night when he crosses into the end zone,
