The Miami Dolphins are massive 13.5-point favorites against the Tennessee Titans in Week 14. The over-under is set at 46.5 points in our NFL odds for the Monday Night Football matchup.
As an aside, this is part of a rare MNF doubleheader with both matchups featuring sizable favorites. The surging Green Bay Packers travel to the Big Apple to take on the New York Giants. Cincinnati’s win as double-digit underdogs against the Jacksonville Jaguars during the last Monday Night Football game should have us proceed with caution.
NFL playoff predictions are bullish on the Fins’ chances to make a postseason run. You may be surprised to learn that the 9-3 Dolphins sit as the No. 1 seed in the AFC going into Week 14.
If this holds, Miami would earn a valuable first-round bye and avoid playing in challenging venues like Arrowhead Stadium. Something tells me Miami is more pleasant than Kansas City in January.
The New York Times’ playoff projections give the Dolphins a greater than 99% chance to make the postseason. So, you’re telling me there’s a chance.
Miami has a 97% chance to win the AFC East and 33% odds to snag the No. 1 seed.
Here’s a look at my NFL predictions for the Titans-Dolphins matchup.
Super Bowl Betting: Do Dolphins Have a Chance?
Despite holding the top seed, the Dolphins are a little bit down the list when it comes to Super Bowl betting favorites. The latest Super Bowl odds, per BetUS, has Miami at No. 6 at +750. San Francisco is the favorite with +325 odds after a dominant win in Philadelphia.
Is now a good time to back the Fins with a futures bet? If there is one cause for concern, it is hard to find a signature win on Miami’s resume.
The Dolphins have largely beat up bad teams while struggling against the top squads on their schedule. Miami lost to Philadelphia, Kansas City, and Buffalo. Two of these defeats were by 14 or more points.
Titans-Dolphins Pick: That’s a Lot of Points, Vegas
The Titans are coming off a heartbreaking 31-28 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Miami posted a 45-15 blowout victory over Washington in Week 13.
No one is confusing this 4-8 Tennessee squad with being contenders. Yet, the Titans have largely been in most of their recent contests.
Tennessee has lost six of their last eight games by eight or fewer points. Miami has been fortunate to have a recent schedule against lesser opponents.
Jake Browning isn’t walking through that door for the Titans to pull off a MNF upset, but I do think this is too many points for the Fins. Bet online on the Titans to cover the spread as Tennessee leans on Derrick Henry.

Questions Of The Day
How many total rushing yards will the Dolphins have vs the Titans?
The Dolphins are second in the NFL with 143 rushing yards per game. Tennessee has been solid against the run, so we predict Miami will have 120 rushing yards.
