NFL Week 14 Picks: 49ers and Falcons Best ATS Bets in NFC North

Three NFC North teams have already reached nine or more wins this season. The Bears will also be on the rise with Caleb Williams once the team finds their next head coach.

The 11-1 Lions are in the driver’s seat in the NFC North standings, but things are not comfortable in Detroit with the Vikings lurking one game back at 10-2. For Week 14, the NFC North kicks things off as the Lions host the Packers as 3½-point favorites on Thursday Night Football.

The 9-3 Packers would be in first place in the NFC South by 3 games, in the NFC West by 2 games and in the AFC South by 1.5 games.

2 ATS Bets for the NFC North in NFL Week 14

1. Atlanta Falcons ATS Pick(+5)

I was ready to fade the Atlanta Falcons after mistakenly riding with Kirko Chainz last week. Then I thought more about the opponent, and it is hard for me to imagine Kirk Cousins being this bad against in a potential revenge spot.

Minnesota clearly was ready to move on from Cousins, and after sitting in the stands to see Cousins’ four interceptions against the Chargers on Sunday, maybe they were on to something. Per Falcons vs Vikings stats, Cousins has not thrown a touchdown in three games, and instead has six interceptions during this same stretch.

Maybe it’s the Netflix show, maybe I am being naive. This just feels like a Hallmark movie where Cousins bounces back in a stadium that is familiar to him.

I am cautiously taking the Falcons as 5-point underdogs in my NFL weekly predictions.

2. San Francisco 49ers ATS Pick (-4)

This feels like a perfect spot to bet on the Bears to get that new coach bump. Chicago will turn to former offensive assistant Thomas Brown as the team’s interim head coach after making NFL news by firing Matt Eberflus last week.

Yet, I think we are finally to the point where the 49ers are being undervalued in the NFL lines.

Per Bears vs 49ers betting trends , San Francisco is riding a three-game losing streak into this matchup, but take a look at its recent opponents. The Niners lost to the Bills, Packers and Seahawks. All three of these teams would make the NFL playoffs as of today.

Eberflus was not a good head coach. Yet, why are we ignoring the reality that Caleb Williams badly mismanaged the end of the game during the team’s loss to the Lions on Thanksgiving Day?

Talent-wise, the 49ers feel like a touchdown or more better than the Bears. Bet online on the Niners to cover ATS as 5-4-point favorites versus the Bears.
