NFC North Week 10 Props: Bet These 3 Stars to Shine 11/10

  • Chicago star RB D’Andre Swift has one of the top NFL player prop lines
  • Sam Darnold can capitalize on a Jaguars defense and should throw for 2+ TDs
  • Lions RB David Montgomery is a solid TD prop at the BetUS sportsbook.

The NFC North is the best division in the NFL right now. Week 10 sees the three active teams as likely winners. And we think they can do it impressively. Using the NFL player props this weekend, we picked the three best players to bet from the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions. Bank on these stars to lead the offense and their teams to victory.

3 TD Prop Bets for NFC North Matchups

1. Bears RB D’Andre Swift Mauls Patriots

A date with New England is just what the ailing Bears need. Chicago has dropped consecutive games thanks to a clunky offense that’s managed just 26 points these past two weeks. But thankfully, the Patriots have a subpar defense, which Chicago can exploit. Running back D’Andre Swift can do work and he’s a solid player to bet online.

Swift has been Chicago’s most dependable offensive player. He’s tallied 505 rushing yards and four touchdowns in eight games. And against New England, he’s due to score his fifth TD. Per Patriots vs Bears stats, New England has given up 22 offensive TDs (2.4 per game) and 136.9 rushing yards a game. In fantasy, the Pats allowed the sixth-most fantasy points to running backs.

Chicago can start strong by using Swift to run down the Patriots’ defense. Swift will do plenty of damage, which includes a touchdown run. At even NFL odds, this is a solid player prop to take.

Bet This Pick: D’Andre Swift – 1+ TDs (+100)

2.Vikings QB Sam Darnold Torches Jaguars

Speaking of scoring plenty of fantasy points, look no further than Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold. The former No. 3 overall pick continues a career-best campaign where he’s on pace for 4,038 yards and 36 touchdowns. Against Jacksonville, which allows the most fantasy points versus QBs, bank on Darnold to throw for at least two TDs.

Darnold already averages over two passing TDs per game. He’s thrown for two or more in six of his last eight games. The two outliers are Detroit and the Jets, when they still had Robert Saleh as their head coach. Jacksonville has a much more porous defense, which is why it’s in the running to draft first overall next year.

In checking Vikings vs Jaguars betting tips, Jacksonville ranks in the bottom three in the NFL in most passing defense categories, which include yards (264.3) and TDs (2.1). The Jags also only have two interceptions and five forced turnovers in total.

Darnold will throw all over this team and cash his 2+ passing TDs making this an easy player prop pick.

Bet This Pick: Sam Darnold – 2+ Passing TDs (-139)

3. Lions RB David Montgomery Feasts on Wanting Texans ‘D’

Houston typically has one of the better defenses in the NFL. But injuries are piling up on this team and it could be without Will Anderson Jr., per NFL news. Middle linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair is banged up as is strong safety Jimmie Ward. Add Houston’s 30th-ranked red-zone defense (69.6%) and we see an avenue for Montgomery to score points.

Montgomery shares the backfield load with Jahmyr Gibbs, but he’s the better back as his 6.4 yards per carry indicates. In the red zone, he’s also more efficient than his counterpart. The former Chicago Bear has two more TDs and 18 more rushing yards.

While Gibbs is more of a target in the passing game, we’re riding with Montgomery to score a touchdown. We’d like longer odds if possible but with how often Detroit scores (31+ points in four of its last five games), Montgomery should find paydirt. He’s our NFL prediction to score at least one TD.

Bet This Pick: David Montgomery – 1+ TDs (-143)
