NFC South Picks Week 15: Bet Bucs to Beat Chargers
- Get the best NFL betting odds at BetUS.
- The Buccaneers moved to first place as the Falcons’ losing skid continues.
- Atlanta’s only chance to save its season may be to bench Kirk Cousins.
- The Saints are more than a touchdown underdog versus the Commanders.
That thud you heard is the Atlanta Falcons crashing in the NFC South standings making the NFL odds around the division even more challenging to predict.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers now have sole possession of first place in the NFC South at 7-6. This is important as the Falcons hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Bucs. Atlanta is not only 6-7, but is in danger of being caught by the New Orleans Saints at 5-8.

Kirk Cousins’ seat continues to be hotter than a Waffle House plate heading into Week 15. We will see if the Falcons do the right thing and make a change at quarterback.
Here’s my NFL football predictions around the NFC South in Week 15.
Bet These 3 NFC South Picks in Week 15
1. Buccaneers +3 Upset Chargers to Stay Hot
Don’t look now but the Bucs are in first place. This is partly as a result of Tampa Bay’s recent play and also the dumpster fire going on in the ATL.
The NFL betting spread has the Bucs as 3-point underdogs versus the Chargers. Los Angeles was a doinked field goal away from an upset win over Kansas City as the Chiefs enjoyed some Taylor Swift magic on Sunday Night Football.
The Buccaneers have won three straight games, and I like Tampa Bay’s chances to pull off the upset here. Bet online on Tampa Bay.
2. Woeful Falcons -4½ Cover If Kirk Cousins is Benched
I have no idea what to do with this Falcons team, and it appears they do not either. You could have built a vacation home by simply fading my Atlanta picks this season.
The Falcons started off hot, but it looks like Atlanta simply took advantage of a weak schedule. If Atlanta hopes to save their postseason dream, it is time for the Falcons to look behind door No. 2 and see how rookie quarterback Michael Penix Jr. performs.
Kirk Cousins has 0 touchdowns and 8 interceptions over the last 4 games.
You drafted Michael Penix Jr. for this moment, make the switch Falcons.

Given this is a Monday Night Football game, I think we could see a quarterback change. Cousins does not deserve all the blame but, per Falcons vs Raiders stats, his eight interceptions with no touchdowns in the last four games is not good enough.
Falcons playmakers like tight end Kyle Pitts are not doing the team any favors, either. I’m banking on the Falcons turning to Penix to give the team a boost and covering the 4½-point spread versus the Raiders in NFL picks against the spread.
3. Fade Saints +7½ vs Commanders
We’ll keep this one simple. The Washington Commanders are coming off a bye and will have had two weeks to prepare for the Saints.
New Orleans is coming off a 14-11 win against the Giants. The Commanders are a 7½-point favorite versus the Saints at the BetUS Sportsbook.

I think this one could get ugly. According to NFL news, Saints QB Derek Carr is feared to have a suffered a fractured hand in Sunday’s win. Take the Commanders to cover ATS versus the Saints.
