San Francisco and Los Angeles take center stage for our Week 11 NFC West picks. The former hosts Seattle as a wide favorite while the latter visits New England. The 49ers have found a new lease on life with the return of a superstar running back. Our money is on the gold rushers as they march toward another deep playoff run. However, we can’t back the Rams even against the lowly Patriots.

3 Best Week 11 Picks in NFC West

1. Rams vs Patriots: Bet the Under

The LA Rams are a fan-friendly team. Sean McVay is a genius coach, but he’s not perfect. And on Monday Night Football, we saw this L.A. team fail to score a touchdown on the now 3-6 Dolphins. The Rams can win games when it matters, but their offense isn’t anything special. And the Patriots aren’t, either. That’s why the NFL odds have this as a low-scoring game. We concur.

The Patriots’ defense is underrated. New England is ranked in the upper half of the NHL in many defensive metrics. And it’s also why their last games have gone under the total as they held their opponents to three and 20ish points. Three of the Rams’ last four wins have come by six points or fewer.

What we’re pointing out is that the Rams are going to find a way to outscore an opponent at their level. Patriots’ games have totaled low scores when New England is competitive. We’re expecting a low total per our NFL Week 11 predictions.

2. 49ers Maintain Dominance Over Seahawks

We don’t like betting on chalk, especially when it comes at the price of a touchdown in a division game. But San Francisco owns Seattle. Specifically, Kyle Shanahan has consistently beaten Seattle like Bill Belichick against the Bills before Josh Allen showed up.

Per Seahawks vs 49ers betting trends, San Francisco has covered the spread in five of its last six meetings against Seattle.

With Christian McCaffrey back, San Francisco looked almost like its old self. It tallied 413 yards and had a score in the red zone. The 49ers are still working their way toward being the offensive juggernaut from the past two seasons. But with their lead back healthy, San Francisco can solve its red zone woes while playing more efficiently.

We can’t speak with the same confidence on Seattle. The Seahawks have one win from their last six tries after starting 3-0. The defense, which is hit by injuries, has fallen apart and has given up 26+ points in five of the last six games. The offense is turnover-prone and inefficient. Seattle gets an extra week to prepare but will still fall short. Lay it on the 49ers when betting online.

3. San Francisco Leads Seattle From the Start

Double down on San Francisco. But instead of betting the 49ers straight up with the moneyline, take their first-half moneyline with a discount. The 49ers are front-runners and tend to start the game strong. San Francisco averages over 14 points in the first half while giving up just 83. Seattle also tends to start slow with just 10.6.

The 49ers also have more weapons than the Seahawks, especially with the NFL news that wideout DK Metcalf still dealing with a knee injury. Additionally, it’s November. This is the time when the 49ers turn up the heat and have won 10 straight games this month. That’s the opposite of Seattle, which tends to decline here. The Seahawks are just 1-7 in their last eight games in November.

San Francisco is our NFL pick – Twice. Divisional tilts tend to be tricky for favorites. But the 49ers are better coached, more optimized on offense and have momentum on their side. They should handle business against Seattle by leading from the first half onward.
