NFL Picks Week 3: Best Prop Bets in NFC South

Football point spreads can be challenging to foresee, so let’s turn our attention to NFL picks predictions for the top prop bets around the NFC South. The struggle was real for last week’s NFC South props picks, but we are ready to bounce back in a real way for Week 3.

To help our chances, I am doing my best J.R. Smith impression by increasing the volume of prop picks with five winners (hopefully). Here are my top NFC South prop bets for Week 3 based on the best NFL odds.

Falcons Lean on Field Goals in Detroit

The Falcons are hitting the road for the first time this season, and Detroit is back to being a difficult place to play under head coach Dan Campbell. Atlanta may find points hard to come by as they leave the comforts of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The good news for the Falcons is they have one of the top field goal kickers in Younghoe Koo. Take the over for Atlanta field goals against the Lions.

NFL Prop Pick: Falcons Over 1.5 Field Goals vs Lions -118

Kendre Miller Finds the End Zone vs Packers

Former TCU standout running back Kendre Miller is set to make his NFL debut and all I can think about is that 1990’s country song “Wide Open Spaces.” There is a reason to like Miller’s props this week, namely the litany of Saints running backs sidelined.

Alvin Kamara continues to serve a three-game suspension, and Jamaal Williams sustained a hamstring injury in Week 2. This led quarterback Taysom Hill to receive snaps at running back in Week 2. Miller should receive a solid workload just by necessity making the over for his props especially appealing.

The Packers just allowed another rookie Bijan Robinson to rush for 124 yards. Bet Miller to score a touchdown against Green Bay as one of the best NFC South prop bets for September 24.

NFL Prop Pick: Kendre Miller to score a touchdown vs Packers +190

Cordarrelle Patterson Scores a TD With Juicy Odds

This is one I liked last week, but Cordarrelle Patterson ended up remaining sidelined with an injury. Patterson is expected to play in Week 3 and has not been listed on the injury report.

Atlanta plans to use multiple running backs throughout the season, and Patterson is being undervalued because he has yet to play this season. Patterson can play both wide receiver and running back meaning there are multiple ways for the playmaker to score.

NFL Prop Pick: Cordarrelle Patterson to score a touchdown vs Packers +550

Baker Mayfield Continues to Lean on Mike Evans for Monday night TD

Through the first two games, Mike Evans leads the Buccaneers with 18 targets. Baker Mayfield has already found a new favorite receiver, and Evans’ contract dispute does not appear to be impacting his production. Bet online Evans to find the end zone for the third straight game.

NFL Prop Pick: Mike Evans to score a touchdown vs Eagles +140

Got a Feelin’ for Thielen

The Panthers’ offense is a bit of a mystery with Andy Dalton taking over at quarterback. Look for Dalton to lean on veteran wideout Adam Thielen as he makes his Carolina debut. Thielen was a major factor in the Panthers offense last week notching 7 receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown.

NFL Prop Pick: Adam Thielen to score a touchdown vs Seahawks +300
