The Atlanta Falcons take on the Carolina Panthers with slim playoff hopes still intact. Here’s a look at my NFL football predictions for the best prop bets to take in the game.

The Falcons need two things to happen in order to make the NFL playoffs. Atlanta has to win versus Carolina, but also needs New Orleans to upset Tampa Bay.

Here’s a look at the best NFL prop betting options for this NFC South matchup.
4 Best Prop Bets in Panthers vs Falcons Game
1. Falcons QB Michael Penix Over 1.5 Touchdown Passes
Per Panthers vs Falcons stats, Atlanta rookie quarterback Michael Penix has yet to throw more than one touchdown pass in a game. Look for this to change in the season finale in the ATL.
Penix gets a plus matchup against the Panthers. We could see the Falcons taking the training wheels off the offense in what could be Atlanta’s final game this season.
Loss aside, this entire game-tying drive by Michael Penix is as promising as you can get for a rookie QB

“The biggest thing for Penix is just the poise that he’s shown in these games, you know,” Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said of the rookie quarterback, per the team’s official website.
“Going out there [in his] first start, find a way of getting a win. In a big-time game on Sunday Night Football, with a playoff-like atmosphere, having the poise to go out there and play and finish and do the things that he did in that game.”
Bet online on the over for Penix’s touchdown passes against the Panthers.
PROP PICK: Michael Penix Over 1.5 TD Passes (-113)
2. Falcons TE Kyle Pitts Over 26.5 Receiving Yards
Few players have frustrated fans more than Kyle Pitts. As a former top-five pick, Pitts made NFL news by becoming the highest drafted tight end in NFL history.
Yet, Pitts’ career has been full of frustration more than flashes. That said, Penix becoming the Falcons QB1 could be a boost for Pitts.
We saw Penix look Pitts’ way in a clutch moment against the Commanders in Week 17. Pitts’ receiving yards prop is set at 26.5. I like the over for Pitts.

PROP PICK: Kyle Pitts Over 26.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

3. Falcons RB Bijan Robinson Under 96.5 Rushing Yards
The Falcons have leaned even more on Bijan Robinson since making the quarterback change. Robinson’s rushing yards NFL prop is set awfully high at 96.5 versus the Panthers.
It would be an upset if Robinson did not have another solid outing. Yet, this number is too high for my liking. Take the under on Robinson’s rushing yards in the NFL betting odds.
PROP PICK: Bijan Robinson Under 96.5 Rushing Yards (-102)
4. Falcons WR Drake London to Score a Touchdown
It is a small sample size for Penix, but it is clear that the rookie is looking Drake London’s way often. Since Penix has taken over as QB1, London has 12 receptions over the last two games.
London is still looking for his first touchdown pass from Penix. The star receiver has a great opportunity for that to happen against Carolina. Take London’s anytime TD prop in the NFL picks.
PROP PICK: Drake London Anytime Touchdown (+100)
