Does it get much better than the quarterback matchup between Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens and Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills with a spot in the AFC Championship Game on the line?

While two of the front-runners for the NFL Most Valuable Player Award will be the headliners in this Sunday evening showdown, there are plenty of others to consider when it comes to making NFL player prop bets.

This is the first playoff matchup between these teams since 2021, when the Bills won 17-3 as the home favorite. The teams met in the regular season in Week 4 this year, with the Ravens rolling to a 35-10 win over the visiting Bills.

The weather forecast is calling for chilly conditions with a chance of snow in Buffalo on a Sunday. Wow, snow in Buffalo in January. Who would have thunk it?

There are some intriguing NFL player prop picks to consider when the Ravens face the Bills.

3 Ravens vs Bills Prop Picks to Bet on Jan 19

1. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+179)

When looking at NFL player props today, there isn’t much value for Baltimore star Derrick Henry at -251 to score at least one touchdown. However, it’s a different story for the other elusive runner in the Ravens’ offensive backfield.

Jackson has three career rushing touchdowns in the playoffs. The last time the Ravens won a playoff game, Jackson scored twice against the Houston Texans.

Baltimore is 4-0 this season when Jackson scores a touchdown. That is enough to roll with the +179 odds for Jackson to have at least one touchdown against the Bills.

Bet On Lamar Jackson to have 1+ Touchdowns (+179)

2. Bills RB James Cook 55+ Rushing Yards (-114)

It is understandable why Henry is getting all the buzz heading into this game. Henry ran for 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns during the regular season as he made quite a first impression with the Ravens. That was followed by a 186-yard effort in the playoff opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

But let’s not forget about Buffalo running back James Cook. He ran for 120 yards and a touchdown in last week’s win over the Denver Broncos.

Cook has back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons with the Bills. He went from scoring six touchdowns during the 2023 regular season to finding the end zone 18 times in 16 games this year.

Looking at the Bills vs Ravens stats, Baltimore allowed the fewest rushing yards per game during the regular season, but some of that can be attributed to a leaky pass defense.

When making your NFL picks, look for the Bills to feature Cook early and often. The -114 odds for Cook to have over 55 rushing yards are pretty tempting.

Bet On James Cook 55+ Rushing Yards (-114)

3. Bills DE Greg Rousseau 1+ Sacks (+170)

Counting the playoff opener against the Broncos, Greg Rousseau has 5.5 sacks in his last nine games. He has sacks in two of his last three playoff games as he’s starting to show why the Bills used a first-round pick on him coming out of Miami in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Bills only sacked Jackson once in the regular-season matchup. Buffalo needs to make Jackson a little uncomfortable in the rematch, so it will be bringing the pressure.

With the way Rousseau is playing right now, a Ravens vs Bills best bet is for Rousseau at +170 to have 1+ sacks.

Bet On Greg Rousseau 1+ Sacks (+170)
