In what should be a thrilling Thursday Night Football, our money is on the Buffalo Bills to edge the Miami Dolphins. However, touchdowns will be few and far between here. The total should go under as the Bills’ last two trips to Miami have produced low scores by their standards. We picked the trio of players to score these TDs via TNF player props. Spoilers: Josh Allen is not one.

Bills vs Dolphins Odds and Spreads

3 TD Bets for Bills vs Dolphins on Sept 12

1. De’Von Achane

Let’s start with the obvious choice here: Dolphins running back De’Von Achane. He’s always touted as the “next big thing” due to his blistering speed. Achane breaks off big plays as casually as Josh Allen leaps over defenders. Hence, we’re not surprised to see him at even (+100) odds to score a touchdown.

We’ll take that bet and add another TD at five times the NFL line. Achane scored a rushing TD against Jacksonville despite being held to 2.4 yards per attempt. But he also did big damage as a receiver with 76 yards while catching all seven targets. He had 11 total TDs last season in 11 appearances. This includes three multi-TD games. He’s our best bet to score two if not all of Miami’s TDs despite injury reports.

2. Keon Coleman

The Bills rookie impressed in his debut even if he did not score a touchdown. With five throws his way (he caught four), he was Allen’s favorite target. In a short week where Allen is hurting, he may just throw to his new “safety blanket” in Coleman. He is 6’4” and 215 pounds and a multi-sport athlete. You can’t teach that.

Allen has raved about Coleman even during the preseason. While Khalil Shakir and Mack Hollins caught Allen’s TD passes on Sunday, bank on Coleman to be the guy this Thursday. Getting +240 on him to catch a TD pass is a tremendous value. What’s even more intense is the 17/1 line on him to be the first TD scorer. This may be the best NFL player prop on Thursday night.

3. Dawson Knox

If it’s not Coleman, we’re betting online on Dawson Knox. Dalton Kincaid will see the lion’s share of targets and receptions for Bills tight ends. But Knox could “vulture” the red zone TDs. He only had two TDs in an injury-filled 2023. But he has four TDs in eight career games against Miami.

Allen lights up the Dolphins and Knox is usually on the receiving end of his TD throws. He may just make one reception, as he did against Arizona, but it could count. In an abbreviated week with just three days to prepare, Allen may throw to familiar targets. If it’s not Coleman, it’s Knox who has caught 22 career TD passes from his QB.
