NFL Primetime Props – Dolphins vs Bengals

Six Propositions on the Table for TNF Clash

The Miami Dolphins and the Cincinnati Bengals will kick off Week 4 of the NFL with their highly anticipated Thursday Night Football matchup that could see former Southeastern Conference rivals Tua Tagovailoa and Joe Burrow go head-to-head at Paycor Stadium.

Tagovailoa vs Burrow would be the ideal scenario, the one fans would love to see. However, Tagovailoa’s status for this game is questionable after taking a hard hit against the turf in last Sunday’s 20-17 win over the Buffalo Bills.

The former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback has a back injury that could see him sit this one out. At the moment, Tagovailoa is questionable but not ruled out. Should he be ruled out, though, backup Teddy Bridgewater would step in and that will have a noticeable impact on the odds in several NFL betting markets, including the player props as outlined below.

We’ve selected player props with the NFL odds, latest news, stats and injury reports (at the time of writing), all while assuming Tagovailoa and Burrow will step onto the field to lead their teams in this pivotal game. Find out how we’re slicing our NFL predictions and picks as the markets currently stand.

Let’s check the latest NFL odds, stats, injury reports, and NFL lines for Dolphins vs Bengals. We’ve plenty of Vegas NFL odds for you to consider.

TNF Dolphins vs Bengals Prop Bets

Tyreek Hill Anytime TD +120

After one of his biggest games with the Miami Dolphins, toting the ball for 190 yards and two touchdowns, Hill had a relatively quiet outing against the Bills in Week 3. He merely had two receptions and 33 yards to his credit.

It’s hard to see Hill not become a focal point for this offense, especially under the lights of Thursday Night Football. Hill loves the limelight and he’s the type of player that can rise to the occasion.

  • Pick: Hill +140 to score a TD anytime

Tee Higgins Anytime TD +135

Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins’ production has been on an upward trajectory, reaching a high in Week 3’s 27-12 win over the New York Jets. Higgins put up 93 yards on five receptions but no touchdowns.

If Higgins continues to impact the Bengals offense, it’s only a matter of time before the scoring flows too. He’s an integral cog in the passing game, after all. Higgins has 13 receptions for 191 yards and a touchdown this season.

  • Pick: Higgins +135 to score a TD anytime

Tyler Boyd Anytime TD +200

Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd had four receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown as he helped his side clinch its first win of the season. It was his best game so far.

Boyd could be in a position to build on that performance this week against the Dolphins and the betting online markets agree.

  • Pick: Boyd to score a TD anytime +200

Ja’Marr Chase Anytime TD -115

Ja’Marr Chase scored his second touchdown of the season in last week’s road win against the New York Jets. Chase was only able to put up 29 yards on six receptions, but he did get the all-important score.

On the season, Chase has 21 receptions for 212 yards and two TDs. Opposing defenses are all over Chase these days, knowing he’s one of Burrow’s favorite targets and they’re keen to take him out of the equation. That’s held back the second-year wideout up to this point of the season.

Chase is yet to have a truly breakout game. He could do it here, though. The Dolphins allowed Josh Allen and the Bills to put up over 500 yards in total offense, with 400 of those in the passing game. If Burrow and the Bengals get similar free rein, Chase is one of the likeliest targets to benefit.

  • Pick: Chase to score a TD anytime -115

Joe Burrow Total Passing Yards – O/U 272½

After watching the Dolphins part like the red sea and allow Allen to toss for more than 400 yards, Burrow should be champing at the bit. Burrow has been slow out of the gates this season, but last week’s win over the Jets was his best game to date.

Burrow is averaging 270 yards per game at the moment. His highest tally came in a Week 1 defeat to the Steelers when he threw for 338 yards. Against the Jets, he tossed for 275 yards and three touchdowns.

  • Pick: Burrow to go over 272½ (-115)

Joe Burrow Over 1½ TD Passes -175

Burrow has six touchdowns to his credit this season, which yields an average of two per game. The NFL betting markets project Burrow to just 1½ touchdown passes in this game with the over favored at -175.

As Burrow finds form with each passing week, his production improves steadily. It could go through the roof against a Dolphins defense that has given up over 715 passing yards and almost 1,000 yards in total offense in the last two weeks.

Lamar Jackson put up three passing touchdowns and a rushing score in the Ravens’ 42-38 loss to the Dolphins. Allen put up two passing touchdowns in the Bills’ 20-17 loss. One has to like Burrow’s chances of getting at least a couple of TDs against this defense too.

  • Pick: Burrow to go Over 1½ TDs at -175
