NFL Super Wild Card Teaser Basket (6-point Teasers)
Current Line → Teaser Leg
- Jaguars +2½ → tease up to +8½
- Niners -10 → tease down to -4
- Giants +3 → tease up to +9
- Bengals -10 → tease down to -4
- Buccaneers +2½ → tease up to +8½
Jaguars +2½ → Tease up to +8½
The Jacksonville Jaguars reeled off five straight wins to steal the AFC South title out of the Tennessee Titans’ hands, underscoring the amazing title victory with a 20-16 victory.
The Los Angeles Chargers rubber-stamped their passage into the playoffs with a 31-10 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 17. Then, they moved up to the No. 5 seed in Week 18 despite losing 31-28 to the Denver Broncos. The Baltimore Ravens’ loss to the Cincinnati Bengals helped propel the Bolts forward.
This marks the second time these two sides meet this season. The Jaguars won the first meeting somewhat surprisingly, beating the Chargers 38-10 in Week 3 all while defying the NFL odds as the +6½ closing road underdogs.
Perceptions die hard, so the Chargers go into Super Wild Card weekend as the road chalk. But the 2½-point spread suggests this game is more of a toss-up than the NFL market would have it. In fact, the line dropped from an opening line of Chargers -3 to -2 as betting poured in toward the Jaguars at the start of the week.

Clearly, there is a lot of love for the Jaguars among NFL bettors, which has prompted the line to oscillate for this AFC showdown.
Teasing the Jaguars from +2½ to +8½ moves us through key numbers 3, 6, and 7 and gives us wiggle room with a team that could easily deliver the first big upset in the playoffs. It’s also worth noting that the Chargers have beaten opponents by a touchdown only three times this season.
Buccaneers + 2½ → Tease up to 8½
The betting online markets are not buying what the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are selling as they install the NFC South champions as the distinct underdogs at home. The main charge against Tampa Bay is its laborious journey into the playoffs behind a subpar 8-9-0 record.
As a result, the Dallas Cowboys (12-5-0) opened as the firm -3 road favorites for this Super Wild Card showdown at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay.
It’s quite the bold move to install the Cowboys as the road favorite against Tom Brady and Co. One can never overlook the GOAT and what he brings to the table,
Both the Buccaneers and the Cowboys are coming off losses in Week 18. The difference is that Tampa Bay rested its players in what was a meaningless game versus the Atlanta Falcons.
The Cowboys don’t have the same excuse for their losing effort in the nation’s capital. In fact, the optics were much worse considering they had a lot to gain with a win over the Washington Commanders. Dallas was playing for a chance at the division title and the No. 1 seed in the NFC, though they needed several other results to go their way to pull off the bid.
All told, the Commanders took their role as spoilers seriously, delivering a rather humiliating 26-6 loss in the process.

This is a rematch of these two teams’ Week 1 contest, a game that the Buccaneers won 19-3 in Dallas. A lot has happened since Week 1, but that doesn’t mean the outcome will be any different.
In any event, teasing the Buccaneers by six points gives us room to play with. It moves the line through key numbers 3, 6, and 7 for a team that could easily defy the NFL odds and hand America’s favorite team yet another postseason loss. Fun fact: Brady has never lost to the Cowboys in his career.
