Raiders (+2½) vs Broncos —> Tease Raiders up to + 8½
The Raiders and Broncos made big offseason moves in an attempt to compete and challenge the perennial AFC West champion Kansas City Chiefs. But after 10 weeks of what can only be described as very bad football, it’s safe to say that each side is well off the mark.
Neither the Raiders nor the Broncos have lived up to the hype, although Las Vegas is just that little bit more disappointing than Denver. Derek Carr being moved to tears following Las Vegas’ latest setback – a 25-20 loss to the Jeff Saturday-led Indianapolis Colts just about sums up how bad the Raiders really are.

The Raiders are a woeful 2-7-0 on the season, propping up the AFC West table, and they’re 3-6-0 against the spread (ATS) with a 2.6 losing margin on average. The record that really stands out, however, is the Raiders’ woeful 0-5 record on the road, which includes a 1-4-0 ATS mark and a whopping 7.8 losing margin on average.
The Broncos aren’t much better with a 3-6-0 record. But they might be able to hang their hats on a 2-2-0 record at home, as Russell Wilson and Co. look to level the series with the Raiders following their 32-23 loss in Week 4 at Allegiant Stadium.
The Broncos have an overall 3-6-0 ATS record with a 2.0 losing margin. At home, they’re 1-3-0 ATS with a narrow 0.5-losing margin.
Ironically, the Raiders have won five straight against the Broncos. This is mostly an anecdotal record considering both of these teams underwent wholesale changes in the offseason and brought in the new coaching staff and upgraded their roster with enviable star talent (hi, Russell, Davante!).
By all accounts, this is likely to be a slugfest at Mile High. So, teasing the Raiders up by six points will provide a buffer for your NFL picks. Put it this way: For this bet to lose, the Broncos would have to beat the Raiders by nine points or more. Somehow, that’s hard to see,
Browns (+9) vs Bills —> Tease up Browns to +15
The NFL line for this game was on a downward trajectory due to the weather forecast that was calling for decidedly football-unfriendly conditions in Buffalo. Winds, snow, sleet … it was all there in the cast.
The line dropped down by a ½-point only initially. The markets remained confident that the Bills’ superior quality would prevail despite the apocalyptic conditions this Sunday and held their nerve.
As it so happens, the NFL has now moved this game to Detroit where it will be played under the dome at Ford Field. On nine points already, this is quite the hefty point spread – one of the biggest in Week 11 NFL betting. But the Browns might need all the help they can get with this game headed to Motown.
Cleveland has some of the best running backs in the game that can turn this into a more competitive ground affair than the NFL odds would have it. But teasing the Bills down to -3 doesn’t offer as much value in the betting.
So, for our money, teasing this lineup to Browns +15 gives us more wiggle room to work with, especially if Allen and Co. light it up.

Separately, Jacoby Brissett is on borrowed time. Deshaun Watson returned to training this week in Cleveland with his suspension set to expire soon. One wonders how invested the Browns will be in this matchup as a result.
The Bills are riding an uncharacteristic two-game losing streak. They’ll be anxious to bounce back in a big way and the free-falling Browns might be the perfect punching back.
