NFL Odds: Week 13 O/U Predictions & Picks
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Atlanta Falcons
- Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS
Rookie Kenny Pickett and the Steelers are coming off a short week but a winning performance at the same time. With each passing week, Mike Tomlin is loosening his rookie quarterback’s training wheels and the offense is benefiting. The Steelers have scored 24.7 points per game (ppg) in their last three games. The Steelers defense did well to hold Jonathan Taylor in check last week and that bodes well for them against the Falcons’ rushing attack. That said, the Falcons offense has taken a step back in recent weeks, averaging merely 18.3 ppg.
Picks: Over 42½ (-110)
Jacksonville Jaguars vs Detroit Lions
- Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX
If there’s one thing that these sides have in common, it’s their ability to erupt on the offensive side of the ball. They don’t do it consistently enough, but when they do, it’s a veritable scoring feast. Thus. It should come as no surprise that this game is pegged to one of the higher betting online totals this week. The Jaguars are averaging 22.2 ppg this season and 24 ppg since Week 10. The Lions are averaging 25 ppg this season and 29 ppg since Week 10. Color the world shocked if we don’t see a lot of points here.
Picks: Over 51 (-110)

New York Jets vs Minnesota Vikings
- Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS
Backup quarterback Mike White has earned a second start after leading the Jets to the convincing 31-10 win over the Bears last week. On paper, White has a reasonable chance to replicate his performance in Minnesota. In the Vikings, he will come up against a secondary that helped Patriots quarterback Mac Jones look almost elite on Thanksgiving Day. That perception quickly changed, though, as the Bills set the record straight this Thursday by holding the Patriots to 10 points through four quarters.
Cousins and the Vikings offense have been one of the more consistent units averaging 23.8 ppg this season. If we take away the disastrous account against the Dallas Cowboys of a fortnight ago out of the equation, the Vikings’ scoring average is approximately 29 ppg. The Jets defense is legit and they’re sure to give Cousins and Co. a run for their money, but one can never discount their creativity.
Picks: Over 44½ (-110)
Tennessee Titans vs Philadelphia Eagles
- Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX
Contrasting styles of football come to a head in this fascinating contest between the Titans and Eagles this Sunday. Will Mike Vrabel’s hardnose, gritty and tough football prevail? The Titans are averaging 19 ppg scored and holding opponents to just 18.6 ppg. Or will the flash and pizazz of Nick Sirianni’s offensive-minded football rule. It’s a coin toss. The Eagles are averaging 27.5 ppg. On the season, the Eagles averaged 19.6 ppg allowed but in the last three weeks that number has jumped up to 27 ppg.
Picks: Over 44 (-110)
Cleveland Browns vs Houston Texans
- Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS
Deshaun Watson is set to play his first NFL game since January 3, 2021, and his first as the Cleveland Browns quarterback. The irony of all these firsts taking place in the same week that the Browns are scheduled to take on the Houston Texans isn’t being lost on NFL betting fans – or the former Texans quarterback, for that matter. It’s unlikely that he’ll enjoy a warm reception by Houston’s faithful. Adding to these uncomfortable conditions is the fact that nobody really knows what to expect from Watson and that should make bettors wary of this rather high total.
Picks: Under 46½ (-110)
Miami Dolphins vs San Francisco 49ers
- Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET, FOX
All eyes will be on the clash between the Dolphins and Niners, as it’s a potential Super Bowl 57 matchup. Miami’s offense is explosive. They’re averaging 25.6 ppg this season, but that tally has gone up in the last three weeks to 34.7 ppg. The Niners offense is rounding out into form with an average of 24.3 ppg scored in the last three weeks. But their bread and butter is the defense. Weather could be a factor in this game with rainfall on the forecast.
Picks: Under 45½ (-110)
Kansas City Chiefs vs Cincinnati Bengals
- Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET, CBS
The Kansas City Chiefs are red hot and Patrick Mahomes in a revenge game is a frightening prospect. Earlier this season, he led the Chiefs to the 41-31 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, meting out revenge in their first meetings since losing to Tom Brady and Co. in Super Bowl 55. The Cincinnati Bengals are in fine form too and will be welcoming Ja’Marr Chase back into their fold. This has all the hallmarks of a scoring feast.
Picks: Over 53 (-110)
