NFL Week 14 slate features 13 games spanning from Thursday to Monday Night Football and with betting online markets in full swing, we highlight several matchups that offer early betting value. Conversely, we also look at those that should be bet later.
Let’s check the latest NFL odds, stats, injury reports, and NFL lines. We’ve plenty of Vegas NFL odds and NFL week 14 picks for you to consider.
NFL Odds & Lines Week 14 (Opening Lines)
- Bet Now: Jacksonville Jaguars vs Tennessee Titans (-3½)
- Bet Now: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3) vs San Francisco 49ers
- Bet Later: Cleveland Browns vs Cincinnati Bengals (-6)
- Bet Later: Philadelphia Eagles (-7) vs New York Giants
Bet Now: Titans -3½
Through the lens of preseason lookahead lines, this AFC South showdown was cornered firmly with the hosts tipped at -6½. But lookaheads released last week had the Titans down to -4. For some reason, the markets aren’t buying what the Titans are selling this season, even though they’re riding roughshod over the AFC South and sit among the leaders in the AFC playoff race.
True to form, the official Week 14 line went to press with the Titans tipped at -3½ – representing a hefty three-point demotion in perception from preseason until today. Of course, there’s recency bias in this market – with the Titans being steamrolled by the Philadelphia Eagles 35-10 at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.
But what about the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 40-14 loss to the Detroit Lions at Ford Field? They were roughed up by the Lions and Trevor Lawrence appeared to suffer a brutal knee injury that forced him out of the game briefly.

Divisional contests can be unpredictable and lead to letdown performances, but the gap in quality between these familiar foes is more than a field goal, surely?

Bet Now: Buccaneers +3
The San Francisco 49ers were the vogue NFL pick from week to week, especially in Super Bowl betting markets. But news of Jimmy Garoppolo’s season-ending injury in Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins should start to show its impact on these betting trends.
Interestingly, the Niners remain favored for next week’s clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, though the line has dropped by 3½ points. From a high of San Francisco -6½ in last week’s lookahead window, which offered a sneak peek of this much anticipated NFC tilt, to San Francisco -3.
The Buccaneers are yet to play in Monday Night Football against the New Orleans Saints. Depending on how Tom Brady and Co. perform, the line will move accordingly. Should the Buccaneers redeem themselves after Week 12’s overtime mishap against the Cleveland Browns, it’s possible to see this line move in their favor.
If you like the Buccaneers in this matchup against rookie quarterback Brock Purdy and the Niners, grab the points while you still can.
Bet Later: Bengals -6
Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals improved to 3-0 straight up (SU) against the Kansas City Chiefs after taking the 27-24 win at Paycor Stadium. This gauntlet-throwing win spilled forth into the official NFL Week 14 opening market that went to press with the Bengals at -6. The line moved up by 2½ points from last week’s unbiased lookahead lines that projected the Bengals as the 3½-point home chalk.
Deshaun Watson’s underwhelming debut in Week 13 helped shape this NFL betting market as well. While the Cleveland Browns did take the win over the Texans in Houston, it was the defense and special teams that carried them to victory. It’s hard to see that performance creating hype around the new-look Browns.

Then again, who knows what the public is going to do Earlier in the season, the Bengals lost to the Browns in Monday Night Football marking Week 8 – and pretty badly, too. They succumbed to the 32-13 loss on national television. What’s more, the Browns have had the measure of the Bengals in five straight meetings.
If you’re not sold on the Watson-led Browns – after all, beating the Texans is hardly a ringing endorsement – then wait for this market out. You might be able to get the Bengals below the key number of 6 if the public starts to pound Cleveland +6.
Bet Later: Eagles -7
The Philadelphia Eagles continue to stick it to their doubters. Week 13 was no exception as they improved to a league-leading 11-1-0 record behind a 35-10 dismantling of the Tennessee Titans.
The New York Giants settled on a largely dissatisfactory 20-20 tie with the Washington Commanders at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. The only takeaway for the G-men was covering as the 2½-point home underdogs and improving to a league-leading 9-3-0 record against the spread, which includes a 0.6 losing margin on average.
Preseason lookaheads projected this NFC East showdown on a 1½-point spread with the Eagles to the good. That line jumped up to Eagles -6 in lookaheads last week. Then, up to Eagles -7 in the official Week 14 market at the sportsbook exchange.

If you are what your record says you are, then the Eagles are the best team in the NFL. It’s also fair to say that the gap in quality between the Eagles and Giants is probably worth more than a touchdown in real terms. However, this is a divisional game. Plus, there’s a lot at stake for the Giants, who are in the playoff hunt, albeit at a bit of a distance.
The public has shown a soft spot for the gritty G-men, who continue to punch above their perceived weight class. There’s a lot of love and growing support for Jalen Hurts and the Eagles, too. Thus, it might be worth it to see how public betting impacts this line and if the markets will move off the key number 7 (in either direction). Depending on which way this line moves, it will determine where the better value might be in this matchup for NFL picks against the spread.
