The NFC South has been difficult to predict the last few seasons and 2024 has been no different for online NFL betting.

None of the four division teams are over .500 in winning percentage and just one (Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-5) is better than 5-7 ATS. The Buccaneers were fading in early November and the Atlanta Falcons were surging. They have switched places now.

Before you lay down your money this week, you have to decide whether the Falcons are ready to recover against Minnesota and if Tampa Bay can deal with prosperity when the Las Vegas Raiders visit.

Any chances the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints had to crawl back into the race were severely damaged with tough losses last week.

We think the Falcons and Buccaneers can each get over the .500 mark this week in our NFL predictions, but you can certainly make more money with Atlanta in a huge game at Minnesota.

Top 3 Early NFC South Week 14 Picks

1. Falcons +4.5 vs Vikings ATS Pick

Atlanta quarterback Kirk Cousins suffered four interceptions and the Falcons still only lost by four points against a tough Los Angeles Chargers’ team on Sunday.

Coach Raheem Morris will get his team up for a big game in Minneapolis this week. The Falcons almost doubled the Chargers in total yards, but struggled in the red zone. Expect them to get back on track.

Per Falcons vs Vikings betting tips, Atlanta’s Bijan Robinson has rushed for 100 yards in three of the last six games. If he can accomplish that again versus Minnesota’s rush defense, which ranks first in the league, the Falcons can give you solid value for a moneyline wager.

Expect Cousins to be at his best against the Vikings, with whom he spent the previous six seasons. Darnell Mooney and Drake London will have to be prominent as well and should be considered in NFL player props.

Bet Atlanta +4 ½ and if you have a little more courage, take them to win.

2. Giants Moneyline (+190) vs Saints Pick

New Orleans had a chance to pull within one game of first place in the NFC South, but could not hold off the Los Angeles Rams at home in a 21-14 loss on Sunday.

The Saints had the ball inside the Rams 10 late, but gave the ball up on downs. The Rams scored on each of their last two drives to cover the NFL point spread.

New Orleans has to be demoralized as it heads to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Giants. The Saints started the week as a five-point favorite and New York has yet to win a home game (0-6). You can say the Giants are due to make the home fans happy.

New York has been pretty good against the pass. If the Giants don’t let Alvin Kamara go wild on the ground, they can win. It doesn’t help that sack leader Dexter Lawrence is out for the season, but New York has several key players on defense like Brian Burns.

Bet Giants to get their third win of the season taking them both ATS and on the moneyline in NFL picks.

NFL Pick: Giants (+190)

3. Best Over Bets on Buccaneers and Falcons

Yes, Tampa Bay’s defense has played a little better the last few weeks and Minnesota is fifth in the league in scoring defense.

However, we see both the Raiders vs Buccaneers and Falcons vs Vikings games going over this week. The numbers are also relatively low – in the mid 40s – for your NFL game betting.

Minnesota was held down a bit by an improving Arizona defense, but still posted 23 points in a victory. Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold, running back Aaron Jones and receiver Justin Jefferson are tough to stop and should put up points against the Falcons.

Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers could open it up against the Raiders after escaping with a 26-23 overtime win in Carolina on Sunday. All-Pro receiver Mike Evans is healthy and the Bucs ground attack is producing.

Per Raiders vs Buccaneers betting trends, at least 50 points have been scored in the last six meetings between the teams, starting with the 2002-03 Super Bowl. Las Vegas nearly knocked off Kansas City last week and Tampa Bay gives up 24.7 points per game.

In our NFL expert picks, we like the over in the Vikings vs Falcons (45 ½) and Bucs vs Raiders (45) games.

Bet on these NFL Picks: Falcons vs Vikings over 45½ and Buccs vs Raiders over 45
