NFL Week 2 Best Prop Bets: Packers, Lions Are Top NFC Options

The Vegas NFL odds offer some intriguing prop bets around the NFC North. After hitting just one of four props during the opening week, there has never been a better opportunity to bounce back with some NFL betting props.

For Week 2, we are leaning heavily on the Packers as they travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons. We also have the Bears and Lions sprinkled in for good measure.

Here are my top NFC North props to bet online for Week 2.

Jahmyr Gibbs Impresses vs Seahawks

There are a lot of angry fantasy owners after Lions rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs only received seven touches against the Chiefs in Week 1. The good news is Vegas took note and Gibbs prop bet numbers are lower for Week 2.

After being one of the worst run defenses in 2022, there is still a good chance the Seahawks defensive line is suspect. Even if Gibbs does not get unleashed, the rookie should be able to exceed 38 yards after notching 7 carries for 42 yards against Kansas City.

NFL Pick: Jahmyr Gibbs Over 38.5 Rushing Yards -124

De’Vondre Campbell Is a Tackling Machine vs Falcons

I know what you are thinking, finally a defensive player prop. Your bank account does not discriminate against offense or defense as long as it cashes.

The Falcons are going to continue to load up on rushing attempts which is only going to lead to increased tackle opportunities for the Packers defensive line. It does not hurt that Campbell spent his first four seasons in Atlanta and is coming off 7 tackles in Week 1.

Look for Campbell to top that number against the Falcons and the over to hit as we bet on NFL games.

NFL Pick: De’Vondre Campbell Over 7.5 Tackles -124

Justin Fields Will Bounce Back vs Buccaneers

It was not Justin Fields’ finest hour against the Packers in the season opener. Normally, we like a little better NFL odds than -228, but this one feels like free money regardless. All Fields needs to do is throw a touchdown, which is more than reasonable to expect against the Buccaneers.

NFL Pick: Justin Fields to Go Over .5 Passing Touchdowns vs. Buccaneers -228

Packers Will Rely on Jordan Love’s Arm vs Falcons

This one appears pretty straight forward as Atlanta is intent on only relying on their rushing attack. Desmond Ridder had just 115 passing yards in Week 1 compared to Jordan Love’s 245 yards through the air.

Regardless of the outcome of this matchup, the Packers are going to rely on Love to have full command of the offense, especially if star running back Aaron Jones cannot play. We have seen no evidence that the Falcons are willing to take the training wheels off Ridder.

Take advantage of this reality by picking Love to notch more passing yards than Ridder in the Las Vegas NFL odds for Week 2.

NFL Pick: Jordan Love to Have More Passing Yards Than Desmond Ridder -159

Green Bay Will Continue to Look Luke Musgrave’s Way

Fresh off an NFL debut of 3 receptions for 50 yards, look for rookie tight end Luke Musgrave to remain involved. Jones’ status is very much a question mark along with Christian Watson limiting the potential number of available Packers playmakers. With a relatively low threshold of 33.5 receiving yards, we’re riding Musgrave to hit the over.

NFL Pick: Luke Musgrave Over 33.5 Receiving Yards vs. Falcons
