NFL Week 4 Predictions & ATS Picks
Dolphins vs Bengals (-4)
The Buffalo Bills put up over 500 yards of offense with Josh Allen throwing 400 of those and they still lost to the Dolphins – somehow. The Bengals finally cracked the win column following a 27-12 win over the Joe-Flacco-inspired Jets. Despite contrasting fortunes, the 1-2 Bengals are favored over the 3-0 Dolphins. That’s likely due to Tua Tagovailoa’s injury (back). That and it is a home game in primetime for the Bengals. The case for the hosts will become stronger if Teddy Bridgewater starts instead of Tagovailoa.

Vikings vs Saints (at London)
Turnovers and poor play from Jameis Winston are a problem. Combine that with a defense that is underperforming and the 1-2 Saints might be in trouble for a third straight week. The Vikings have been inconsistent, but they’re 2-1 after beating the Lions in Week 3. On balance, the Vikings have the edge – if ever so slightly.

Browns vs Falcons
The Falcons are playing better than most are giving them credit for (including the NFL betting markets) and they’ll be buoyed by their first win of the season. A 29-17 win over the Steelers in Thursday Night Football provided a positive springboard for the Browns going into a long week. The Browns are supposed to be the better team, but they’re only the -1 road favorites here. That’s telling.

Commanders vs Cowboys
Are we buying the Cooper-Rush-led Cowboys right now? It’s hard not to against the Commanders, who went MIA in Week 3’s 24-8 loss to the Eagles and allowed Wentz to get sacked nine times! Rush is a serviceable backup, the offense is methodical with him at the helm and overall the Cowboys are playing within themselves, which is a formula that’s working well for them.

Seahawks vs Lions
Conservative play-calling and a spot of bad luck (missed field goal) conspired against the Lions, leading to a late-game collapse and the 28-24 loss to the Vikings in Week 3. This is the perfect bounce-back game against a beatable Seahawks side that is coming off a 27-23 loss to the Falcons.

Titans vs Colts
It’s early in the season, but this is a must-win game with big AFC South implications. Although both sides are coming off winning accounts in Week 3, the Colts offense is still all out of sorts and they were extremely lucky in the 20-17 win over the Chiefs in Week 3. The Titans haven’t been great, but they aren’t playing as badly as the Colts either. So, don’t be surprised if the Titans defy the NFL odds and pull off the upset at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Bears vs Giants
Talk about a toss-up between 2-1 SU teams that are in the midst of some level of redevelopment. The performances of Justin Fields and Daniel Jones are getting mixed reviews, but the latter has a better supporting cast. The Giants have more offensive weapons, which should tip the balance toward the host in what is likely to be an ugly, low-scoring affair in the Big Apple. For those on the fence, hedging bets might be the best betting online strategy.

Jaguars vs Eagles
All of a sudden, this has become a fascinating game to spot for Week 4 NFL picks against the spread. Doug Pederson’s Jaguars are 2-1 SU, underscoring their credentials with a 24-0 win over the Colts (Week 2) and an eye-popping 38-10 win over the Chargers at SoFi Stadium (Week 3). Most bettors are likely to stay the course with the unbeaten Eagles, who are proving to be the vogue bet, but don’t be surprised if Pederson has the last laugh against his former team.

Jets vs Steelers
This is a quarterback minefield. Zach Wilson could return for the Jets this week, otherwise, Joe Flacco will start again. Mitch Trubisky is falling out of favor with Steelers fans, raising the possibility of rookie Kenny Pickett starting. Bettors could benefit from waiting before pulling the trigger here.

Bills vs Ravens
- Although Lamar Jackson’s play can’t be faulted, his defense is more porous than a sieve. The Bills’ elite offense could have a field day here as they look to atone for last week’s disappointment in Miami.

Chargers vs Texans
The Chargers’ brutal 38-10 loss to the Jaguars was exacerbated by Justin Herbert’s questionable fitness, Keenan Allen’s absence and an injury to Joey Bosa. Good news: This should be a bounce-back game against a Texans team that leaves much to be desired.

Cardinals vs Panthers
The Panthers are coming off a 22-14 win over the Saints, largely down to the poor play of Winston and Co. rather than the strong play from their hoped-for savior Baker Mayfield, who is completing 51.9% of his passes. The Cardinals might be 1-2 SU but they’ve had a tough schedule to start the season with the Chiefs, Raiders and Rams in succession.

Patriots vs Packers
With Mac Jones (ankle) questionable for this week’s clash with the Packers, Brian Hoyer could be starting. Thus, quite rightly, the NFL odds are stacked against the Patriots. The Packers should win at home and, if Hoyer does start, they should also cover the double-digit spread.

Broncos vs Raiders
The winless Raiders go into this AFC West showdown with the 2-1 Broncos as the firm betting online favorites. That says everything about what the markets think of the Russell-Wilson-inspired Broncos.

Chiefs vs Buccaneers
Fans are going to be treated to at least one more chapter of the Kid vs the Goat rivalry when the Chiefs descend on the Buccaneers on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium ( note: bad weather could move this game to neutral ground). The last time they met, the Buccaneers trounced the Chiefs 31-9 in Super Bowl 55. It’s unlikely to be lopsided this time around, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers should still come up with big with their solid defense playing a big factor in the outcome.

Rams vs 49ers
The Niners’ 11-10 loss to the Broncos on Sunday has to be one of the worst games in the history of the NFL. If not, it’s pretty high up there. So, it’ll take a gutsy bettor to back the Niners this week against the Rams. We’ve got the guts! Well, not entirely as we’re hedging our bets between these NFC West rivals.
