NFL Week 4 OVER/UNDER Plays of The Week
Will the Under Rule Again?
Will the Under Rule Again?
Anything can happen on any given Sunday and injuries, turnovers, bad play calling and weather can have a meaningful impact on the outcome of a game – namely from who wins to what the final score will be.
The OVER leads 28-19-1 after three weeks. But Week 3 saw the games split evenly (8-8-0) between the OVER and UNDER in total betting.

How will Week 4 unfold? Will there be more electric action and high-scoring games? Or will low-scoring affairs rule the day?
Read on for our game previews and quick-fire NFL predictions below, which include the latest stats, injury reports, and NFL odds, capped off with choice NFL picks for your consideration.
NFL Week 4 O/U Predictions & Picks
Vikings vs Saints – O/U 41½
Sunday, 9:30 a.m. ET, NFL Network
The first London game of the season brings us an interesting matchup between the Vikings and Saints. Kirk Cousins and the Vikings offense showed a lot of promise in Week 1, but they’ve failed to leverage that in the subsequent weeks. As it is, they’re averaging a paltry 19.5 points per game (ppg). The Saints are averaging even less with 17 ppg through three weeks and 12 ppg in the last two weeks. Then again, Jameis Winston is playing with fractures in his back!
There’s a lot of evidence to suggest that this game is primed to fall UNDER the 41½ total currently trading at the sportsbook exchange. However, given the neutral location and the impressive surroundings of Tottenham Stadium, which will provide for an electric environment, don’t be surprised if this game goes against the grain. The Saints have a capable backup in Andy Dalton as well, should it come down to it.

- Pick: Over 41 ½ (-110).
Browns vs Falcons – O/U 47 ½
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS
Only three teams have consistently gone Over in the first three weeks of the season and two of those are the Browns and Falcons, who boast a 3-0-0 record in Over-Under betting. The Browns are scoring an average of 28.3 ppg and the Falcons are putting up 26.7 ppg. This has all the hallmarks of a veritable shootout.

Commanders vs Cowboys – O/U 41½
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX
Will the real Carson Wentz please stand up? If the Wentz of Week 3, who looked clueless with the ball and was sacked nine times, shows up for this pivotal NFC East, don’t expect much scoring. Or any at all. The Cowboys care only about winning right now while Dak Prescott recovers from hand surgery. Cooper Rush is a steady hand on offense, the defense is playing within itself and together they’re playing smart, hard-nosed football.
-
- Pick: Under 41½ (-110)
Seahawks vs Lions
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX
The Lions join the Falcons and Browns as the only three teams that have a 3-0-0 record in total betting. The Seahawks aren’t too far off with a 2-1-0 record against the total. The Seahawks defense is atrocious and Jared Goff and the Lions offense should torch it easily.

- Pick: Over 48 (-110)

Bears vs Giants
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, FOX
Probably one of the least attractive matchups on the NFL betting slate is this clash between the Bears and Giants at MetLife Stadium. Both the Bears and Giants are 1-2-0 in O/U betting. Justin Fields is averaging a paltry 99 passing yards per game and the Bears are scoring 17.3 ppg. The Giants came crashing back down to earth in Week 3, losing to the Cowboys 23-16. They’re averaging 18.7 ppg. By these stats, this should be a yawn.
-
- Pick: Under 39 (-110)
Bills vs Ravens
Sunday, 1 p.m. ET, CBS
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are the league’s highest-scoring offense posting 33 ppg game. Josh Allen and the Bills aren’t too far behind with 30.3 ppg. Jackson and Allen are two of the top MVP candidates this season and the Ravens and Bills are among the top Super Bowl 57 favorites. Everything about this top billing screams offense, so it’s not surprising to see this AFC powerhouse couple pegged to a 51-point total.

Rams vs 49ers
Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN
The Rams’ defense is coming off its best performance, thwarting Kyler Murray and the Cardinals and holding them to four field goals in the lopsided 20-12 win. The Niners somehow managed to lose to a Broncos team that was being booed by its fans from start to finish. By the NFL odds, this is expected to be a slugrest between two teams and coaches that know everything there is to know about each other. That said, Jimmy G. needs a redeeming performance and a matchup against the reigning Super Bowl champions is exactly the kind of game he and the Niners together need to win in convincing fashion.
