Noah Gray, MVS Among Chiefs Best Super Bowl Bets

The Super Bowl odds feature an overwhelming amount of betting options. This makes it more prudent to focus on specific positions. Let’s take a look at the top prop bets for the Chiefs receivers and tight ends.

Contrary to the headlines, Kansas City has more offensive weapons than just Travis Kelce. They are all admittedly a distant second, but some of these players offer great value at the sportsbook.

Let’s take a look at my Super Bowl predictions for the best Chiefs prop bets for receiving weapons.

Noah Gray Over 1.5 Receptions

With apologies to Noah Gray’s family, some of you are googling who this is ahead of the Super Bowl game. Yes, the Chiefs have another tight end who does not happen to be dating a pop star.

Mahomes has leaned on Gray during the playoffs with the tight end notching five receptions in the last two games. Gray has had at least two catches in two straight games heading into Vegas.

Including the playoffs, Gray has notched two or more receptions in 11 of the Chiefs games. We’re taking the over on Gray’s 1.5 reception prop in the Super Bowl.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling Over 19.5 Receiving Yards

Few players have had as wide of a range of outcomes as Marquez Valdes-Scantling. What we do know is MVS has come up clutch in the Chiefs’ two most recent playoff outings.

Valdes-Scantling has topped 35 receiving yards in the last two games. The Kansas City wideout’s receptions is set at 1.5. Either of these is a solid bet in the Vegas odds Super Bowl options.

My preference is to go with the over on receiving yards just in case MVS only gets one long reception. I’m okay hammering both of these prop betting options for the Chiefs veteran.

Travis Kelce Over 72.5 Receiving Yards

No player is in the spotlight quite like Travis Kelce heading into the Super Bowl. Kelce is not only one of the most important players in this matchup but being in Taylor Swift’s orbit demands more of the public eye.

With whispers about Kelce potentially losing a step, Mahomes made it clear that the star tight end is still his favorite target. Given the Kansas City roster, there is not even a close second.

Rashee Rice has come on strong in his rookie season, but Kelce is still the A-Side of the Chiefs offense. Kelce has topped 70 receiving yards in all three playoff games. The star is coming off 11 receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown.

Kelce is a great candidate for his own same game parlay, but let’s start with the over on his receiving yards. Would we like this to be slightly number? Yes, it is admittedly inflated for the 2024 Super Bowl but that should not matter.
