Slumping New Orleans Awaits Michigan
The Michigan Panthers and New Orleans Breakers will meet for the first time this season Sunday after meeting in a thrilling clash last year. The two went to overtime in their 2022 matchup and it may be close again. The Panthers’ last win ended a four-game losing streak while the Breakers are in the middle of a three-game skid, but according to USFL odds, New Orleans is favored.
Panthers Bounce Back
Michigan ended a four-game losing streak with its win over New Jersey thanks to a few extra plays against the Generals.
The teams kept it close all game, but the Panthers’ three extra points in the first half ended up being the difference in the game as New Jersey couldn’t make up the deficit the rest of the game.
Michigan was led by quarterback Josh Love, who threw for 264 yards and three touchdowns in the win.

The performance was the Panthers’ best offensively since the season opener, so bettors may want to see if they can sustain it before making any USFL picks.
Breakers Continue Slide
New Orleans dropped its third game in a row despite its offense putting up a better performance than in recent weeks.
The Breakers doubled their point total against the Birmingham Stallions from their last two games, but their defense was unable to come up with enough stops to get the win.
New Orleans allowed Birmingham to go for 261 yards to score 24 points in the loss as the Stallions finished 3-for-4 in the red zone.
Though they showed improvement, the Breakers still remain inconsistent on both sides of the ball, and it’s best to see how they start against the Panthers before making use of USFL live betting odds.

The first time these two met last season was exciting and the rematch should be no different as both teams are looking to get back on track. However, despite the loss last week, the Breakers got some of their offensive firepower back, and they should be able to use that to grab the win and cover the 3½-point spread from USFL lines.
Worth Betting the Totals?
The Panthers haven’t shown the ability to slow teams down much recently on the defensive side, which should give New Orleans another offensive advantage as they continue to build off of last week’s win. Michigan should also get in enough scoring against the Breakers to help the two combine to hit the over on the 43-point total from the sportsbook.
