Division games are often competitive. But not when the Buffalo Bills are hosting the New England Patriots. We don’t buy into this talk of a “letdown game” for Buffalo following an epic two-game road trip that saw 176 points scored. There will still be plenty of points here and most will be scored by Buffalo. Let’s look at how the Bills blow out New England with our latest NFL parlay picks.

2 Legs to Bet for Patriots vs Bills Same-Game Parlay

1. Buffalo Scores at Least Four Touchdowns

The Bills are due to slow down eventually, but not this Sunday. We correctly predicted Buffalo would upset Detroit in a shootout. It will be difficult to replicate the 90 points that game had, but Buffalo can score 4+ touchdowns in its return to Orchard Park. Per Patriots vs Bills stats, Buffalo already averages 35 points and 4.3 TDs per home game this season.

New England has a decent defense. It only gives up 2.5 touchdowns on the road and 21.9 points. But these stats are inflated with games against inept offenses like Chicago and Tennessee. If you look at some of the Patriots’ road games, they got torched by Arizona (30 points), Miami (34) and even Jacksonville (32).

Buffalo is better than these teams and with Josh Allen still on fire, bet online on the Bills to score over 3.5 touchdowns. We’d like a better line but this is worth adding to the parlay.

2. James Cook Goes Over His Rushing Yards

If the Bills are to score over 3.5 touchdowns, running back James Cook will need to play a big role. He’s been the Bills’ second-best offensive player even if he’s been a bit on-and-off. The third-year pro averages 63.7 rushing yards per game. But let’s look at this more intently before adding his over rushing prop to our NFL parlay.

Cook has rushed over 65 yards in seven of his 13 games this season. In six of these games, Buffalo scored 30+ points while the team won by 10+ points in four. He rushed for 107 yards in a 35-10 drubbing of San Francisco and a season-high 111 in a 31-10 rout over Seattle.

When Cook is going, the Bills’ offense is more balanced and tougher to predict. There is also a good chance Buffalo will blow out New England quickly. This will get Cook and the running game more touches and thus more chances for him to go over his NFL player prop rushing yards. Parlay the over.
