Prime Time NFL Parlay and Props: Giant-Slaying Bets To Cash

San Francisco Will Destroy the Giants Sans Saquon

Amazon is the proper place to watch a savage shellacking Thursday night between the Giants and 49ers. San Francisco is favored by 10 or more points and is -550 on the moneyline. There is not a lot of value here. But folks can turn to parlays and NFL prop betting to extract a bigger bang for their bucks.

Best Giants-49ers Props

Fade Jones without Barkley

Daniel Jones was the hero as his Giants overcame a 20-point deficit against the Cardinals last week. But everything is working against him here on Thursday Night football. It’s a short week against the NFL’s best defense and without his superstar running back, Saquon Barkley. On top of that, Jones is just 1-10 in “Prime Time” games.

Jones goes from hero to zero with and without Barkley. With his stud RB, Jones has 46 touchdowns to 20 interceptions. Without him, it’s 16 and 17, respectively. We’re not buying talk from Brian Daboll that Barkley could play on Thursday. As such, we can chalk Jones having a rough game using a pair of NFL prop bets here.

NFL Pick: Daniel Jones (NYG) Over/Under (Pass Completions) – Under 20½ (-127)

NFL Pick: Daniel Jones (NYG) Over/Under (Pass Interceptions) – Over ½ (-110)

Turnovers Galore

Not only can we bet online on Jones to force a bad pass that leads to a turnover, but there is a good chance San Francisco scores with it. The Giants’ offensive line remains a work in progress and Jones will be under pressure for most of the game.

The 49ers also had the second-most takeaways last season and they scored three defensive touchdowns. Should San Francisco build a big and early lead, which they are favored to do in the sportsbook, it will force Jones to throw the ball a lot. And that could lead to more turnovers and an eventual touchdown from San Francisco’s ‘D’.

NFL Pick: Will There Be a Defensive or Special Teams TD – Yes (+200)

Gold Rush For 49ers Back

If and when San Francisco builds an early lead, it will grind the Giants down with its potent rushing attack. Kyle Shanahan lamented overusing Christian McCaffrey last week against the Rams. But that was against an archrival. In a short week and against a beatable opponent, he might just give Elijah Mitchell more touches.

McCaffrey will still play. But when it comes to doing the dirty work, like a short yardage run or a red zone carry, Mitchell might get the rock. So it’s worth betting that the running back will not only score but score twice. There are a few ‘TNF’ bets via the props here.

NFL Pick: Anytime Touchdown Scorer – Elijah Mitchell (+185)

NFL Pick:Player to Score Two or More Touchdowns in the Game – Elijah Mitchell (+1400)

NFL Pick: Shortest TD in the Game – Under 1½ Yards (-140)

Best Giants-49ers Parlay

The 49ers should beat the Giants definitively. It will be a blowout barring an injury to quarterback Brock Purdy. Betting the Niners straight is a whale’s play. But those looking for the best parlay bets for September 21, bet San Francisco against the spread and its team total to go over 27½ points.

Same-Game Parlay: San Francisco 49ers -10 & San Francisco Over 27½
