2 Raiders vs Saints Bets You Should Make on Sunday
1. Raiders ATS Pick -1
This is basically a pick ‘em game, though the fact that Las Vegas is giving a point on the road shows it is expected to win. The Raiders have been playing quarterback roulette this season, with Aidan O’Connell returning from a knee injury to lead the team to the win over the Jaguars.
“It was just fun to see the smiles (after a win) again,” O’Connell said.
“It’s a big part of why you play the game. To not have it for 10 weeks in a row is tough.”
O’Connell passed for 257 yards in his return to the lineup, and he’ll be looking to have another solid showing as he makes his case to remain the starter next season.
One of the top betting contenders to win Offensive Rookie of the Year is Las Vegas tight end Brock Bowers, who has been great in his initial NFL campaign. Bowers had 11 catches for 99 yards against Jacksonville, putting him at 101 receptions on the season, second in the NFL. He ranks eighth in receiving yards with 1,067, though he’s only scored four touchdowns.
Look for O’Connell and Bowers to hook up a few more times against the Saints. According to Raiders vs Saints stats, New Orleans is 26th in the league in pass defense, allowing 240.5 yards through the air per game.
That duo alone should be enough to push the Raiders to their second straight victory. Take Las Vegas giving the point in the first of our NFL picks for this contest.

2. Raiders vs Saints Under 38
If you’re looking for a high-scoring game on Sunday, you’ve come to the wrong place. New Orleans was shut out on Monday night, giving it just 47 points over the last four games. The Saints’ only win over that span was a 14-11 victory against the Giants, who had a potential game-tying field goal attempt blocked to end the game.
Rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler is running the offense these days, though he isn’t having a lot of success. He was 15-of-30 for 153 yards and an interception against Green Bay, with the Saints managing a total of 196 yards, the fewest for the team since Week 10 of the 2022 campaign.

Not that Las Vegas has the same caliber defense that Green Bay does, but Rattler could have his troubles against the Raiders, who are allowing just 210.1 passing yards per contest. Even without All-Pro defensive end Maxx Crosby, who is out for the season with an ankle injury, Las Vegas will put plenty of pressure on Rattler in this one.
Meanwhile, per NFL betting trends, Las Vegas hasn’t exactly been lighting up the scoreboard, going six games without reaching the 20-point plateau. Even the Raiders’ last game over 20 points came against the sieve of a defense employed by the Bengals, and they only managed 24 points.
This game is not going to be pretty, so taking the under is definitely the way to go when you make your NFL predictions.
