The Los Angeles Rams have a must-win game this week and will be a relatively big road favorite on NFL Week 11 betting lines when they visit the rebuilding New England Patriots on Sunday afternoon.
The Rams had won three in a row to climb back into the NFC playoff race before suffering a 23-15 loss to Miami on Monday night. Los Angeles is just one game out of a playoff spot with Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Buffalo coming in the next four games.
New England is no pushover. The Patriots have won two of their last three and the loss was in overtime at Tennessee. Rookie quarterback Drake Maye has added a little spark since taking over the reins.

The defense is giving New England a chance each week. The Patriots have allowed 15 points per contest since a six-game losing streak. Maye does not have great statistics, but he is showing signs he can be a winner.

The Rams have been quite an enigma this season, which makes them a tough call each week.
Los Angeles has beaten San Francisco and Minnesota. But the Rams have scored 20 or fewer points in five losses. Quarterback Matthew Stafford had four touchdown passes in the win over Minnesota, but has registered just nine to go along with seven interceptions on the season.

The Rams have been inconsistent on offense. Kyren Williams (664 rushing yards) is tied for second in the league with 10 total touchdowns (25 in 31 career games) and Cooper Kupp leads a deep receiver room with 41 catches. Something is still missing.
Los Angeles has not been good on the road, either. The Rams’ only win away from home (1-3) was at Seattle in overtime when the Seahawks committed several gaffs in the red zone.
Beating the Dolphins at home last week would have been a good sign. We don’t believe in the Rams. Delete them from your NFL betting this week.
3. Believe In Pats Defense: Bet Under 43.5
New England’s defense makes us believe. The Patriots gave an indication on opening day in the 16-10 win at Cincinnati.
There have been some poor performances, including in losses to Jacksonville and Houston, but their suffocating effort at Chicago last week was the Patriots’ best.
The Rams struggled on defense early this season, but have allowed an average of 19.5 points against the past four contests. They should continue that trend against the evolving Patriots.
