The Baltimore Ravens could use a break after a difficult schedule over the last few weeks, and they get it on Sunday when they visit the floundering New York Giants. The Ravens have dropped two of its last three games, including a 24-19 setback against Philadelphia prior to last week’s bye.

Baltimore was one of the preseason favorites to come out of the AFC and make the Super Bowl, but the Ravens trail Pittsburgh by two games in the AFC North race. Baltimore has +160 odds at BetUS Sportsbook to win the AFC North and is still fifth in betting odds to win the Super Bowl at +900.

New York is, well, not in the running for a division title, a Super Bowl championship or even a playoff spot, having long since been eliminated from contention. The Giants are in the race for the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, however, coming into this weekend tied with the Las Vegas Raiders with a league-low two wins.

Despite that, New York is still fighting, losing on a blocked field goal attempt on the last play of the game against New Orleans last week. We don’t see the Giants being that close against Baltimore, but check out our NFL predictions for bets you should make on this game.

The Ravens are 16½-point favorites in this game. If you believe New York can pull out the outright win, you can get +900 odds on the moneyline. Baltimore is listed at -1600 when not giving any points. The over/under for the contest has been set at 42½ points.

2 Bets You Should Consider for Ravens vs Giants

1. Baltimore to Cover Massive Spread

The Baltimore Ravens have been playing close games for the last month, with the team’s last easy win coming against Denver in early November. A pair of one-score wins and a pair of one-score losses have been stressful for the team, and next week’s looming showdown with the Steelers has to already be on the Ravens’ minds.

The offensive side of the ball has been putting up good numbers. Per Ravens vs Giants betting tips, Baltimore leads the league in total yards per game at 422.5. But in losses to Pittsburgh and Philadelphia over the last three games, the Ravens have struggled to score, finishing with 16 and 19 points, respectively.

Getting the running game going against the Giants is going to be key. Running back Derrick Henry is second in the NFL with 1,407 rushing yards and has scored 13 times on the ground while quarterback Lamar Jackson is always a threat to run the ball, coming into this one with 678 yards and three touchdowns.

Jackson’s passing is also a threat, and he needs to get into more of a groove in that area heading down the stretch. Baltimore can’t be one-dimensional, so look for Jackson to go to the air to leading receiver Zac Flowers (60 catches, 863 yards, four TDs).

The Giants are going to struggle to keep the Ravens in check in this one, leading to a blowout. New York is just lacking on both sides of the ball, so Baltimore giving the points is one of the NFL picks you should be making on this one.

2. Giants’ Punchless Offense to Keep Total Under

While New York’s defense has kept it in some games this season, the offense has struggled, leading to starting quarterback Daniel Jones’ demotion and release. The New York Giants will have Tommy DeVito running the show on Sunday after he didn’t play for two games due to suffering a forearm injury on Thanksgiving.

Drew Lock started the last two games, but he suffered a heel injury last week and also has a left elbow injury. No quarterback for the Giants has been very good this season, leading head coach Brian Daboll to juggle his starter throughout the campaign.

It’s just a roller coaster,” DeVito said this week. “But it’s part of the process, part of the journey. I’m just staying even keeled through it all and just continuing to keep my head down and work.

Baltimore is the worst team in the league in regards to pass defense, allowing an league-worst 264.9 yards per game, per NFL betting trends. And New York has a dynamic rookie in receiver Malik Nabers (80 catches, 819 yards, three TDs), though he has been limited in practice this week due to a hip injury.

Still, it’s hard to see New York getting enough points to keep this game close or even help it hit the over. Baltimore isn’t going to allow many scoring plays in this one, keeping the game under 42½ points.

Make sure when you bet online that you take the under as part of your wagering.
