Looking for the best NFC West player props this week? We’ve got you covered with two big bets: Christian McCaffrey’s return and James Conner’s unstoppable ground game. CMC is back for the San Francisco 49ers and ready to light up the scoreboard against the struggling Tampa Bay Bucs’ defense. Meanwhile, Arizona’s Conner faces a New York Jets run defense that’s as leaky as a busted hose.
Let me explain why these NFL predictions are worth your time and money.
Top 2 NFC West Player Props
1. 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey Anytime TD Scorer
Christian McCaffrey to score a TD on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? Feels like a bet that writes itself, even if it comes with a sprinkle of risk. Well, it’s more like a Salt Bae-sized sprinkle of risk. But the NFL odds are worth it for one of this generation’s most prolific TD scorers.
Let’s get the obvious out of the way: CMC hasn’t touched a football in a game this year, sidelined with Achilles tendinitis and leaving fantasy owners and 49ers fans staring at their screens with the classic “are you serious?” face.

But after unexpected NFL news that led to an IR stint and following a bye week that probably felt like a month-long spa day for the 49ers’ medical staff, CMC is back at practice and showing up as limited on the injury report — code for “he’s playing, but don’t expect him to run amok.”
Now, why bank on him scoring? Simple. Even if McCaffrey doesn’t get his usual workload, he’s still a demon in the red-zone.
CMC is basically a touchdown magnet.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers’ defense is currently more porous than a North Korean-made luffa—ranking 29th in points allowed per drive and giving up 102 points over the last three games. They’ve been 0-3 despite their offense dropping 81 points, which says all you need to know about their defensive woes.
If there’s a time for McCaffrey to make a statement return, it’s now for online betting.
Bet This Pick: Christian McCaffrey Anytime TD Scorer
2. Cardinals RB James Conner O/U 77.5 Rushing Yards
James Conner Over 78.5 rushing yards? Say less.
The man’s got the perfect setup this week against the New York Jets. While they’ve got a secondary that could make quarterbacks sweat, the Jets seem to think run defense is optional. Sitting at 26th in opponent rush EPA and success rate, the Jets have been a turnstile for opposing running backs.
Per Jets vs Cardinals stats, Conner’s averaging 16.3 carries per game with 4.5 yards per rush, and he’s been clocking in at 18+ carries over his last three outings. Last week? He casually ran for over 100 yards just because he could.
This is one of the most absurd stats I’ve seen in awhile.
Top-three in missed tackles forced, per @FantasyPtsData:

31 – Kenneth Walker

The Cardinals, the eighth-most run-centric team in the league, know what works. Conner’s been getting 65.7% of his team’s carries, and he’s crushing it with an impressive 3.64 yards after contact — meaning even if someone manages to grab him, he’s still moving the chains.
With the Jets surrendering the 12th-most rushing yards and a running back scoring on them three games straight, it’s like they’re daring Arizona to feed Conner the ball. The stars (and stats) align here. Betting the over on 78.5 yards for Conner feels less like a gamble and more like common sense in NFL picks.
Time to let the man work.

Question of the Day
Who leads the NFL in rushing yards?
Derrick Henry is dominating the NFL on the ground. He had 1,052 yards entering Week 10 and rushed for 68 more on Thursday Night Football.
