Saints vs Packers Prop Betting: No Love for Top Pick
The New Orleans Saints are off to their first 2-0 start in a decade and look to keep the party going in Week 3 against the Green Bay Packers. We’ve covered this game from several angles already, so I wanted to mix things up and create a quick NFL parlay for this NFC battle.
Both teams have some undervalued talent that will be perfect for our best NFL parlay bets this week. So, let’s jump right into the picks.

No Love for Jordan
Between both teams, the most talented group on the field will be the Saints defense. Outstanding defensive play has been at the center of their 2-0 start, and I’m betting that they step up again in Week 3 and shut down Packers quarterback Jordan Love. At the least, the Saints are worth a bet online in this matchup at Lambeau Field
If you glance at Love’s stats through the first two weeks, you might think that the Packers’ new signal caller is doing very well in the wake of Aaron Rodgers’ exit. He is tied for the lead in touchdown passes with six, has yet to throw an interception and leads the NFL in quarterback rating at 118.8.
Depending on how you look at it, Love could be considered the No. 1 quarterback in the NFL right now. But if you pay attention to the right numbers, it’s clear that Love is also one of the worst quarterbacks in the league.
“You were soooo wrong about Jordan Love. He leads the NFL in passer rating & tied for lead in TDs”
He’s also – 23rd in yards, 28th in attempts, 31st in completions, 31st in completion %
0/5 for ZERO yards & a solo false start in 4Q on Sun.
Quit being selective with your stats.

One example of Love’s garbage stats is his 55.8 completion rate, which ranks him third from the bottom in front of Deshaun Watson (55.1) and Zach Wilson (54.2). I was looking at fantasy NFL news for Love this week and saw him ranked as high as No. 3 and as low as 25th.
Love’s rating is a product of getting lucky with no interceptions and many yards after catch for his receivers.
On the other side of the ball, the Saints’ defense has been very strong with just 32 points allowed in two weeks. One reason for their opponent’s low scores is their dominance in the passing game, with 4.8 yards per pass and a 56.72% completion rate allowed on defense. The Packers have no running game and will be forced to pass against one of the best secondaries in the league.
Jordan Love to throw an interception is among our Best NFL prop bets today as he prepares to face off against one of the scariest secondaries in the league.
Best prop NFL Pick Sept. 24: Jordan Love Over 0.5 Interceptions (-117)
Olave, Carr Developing Rapport
Derek Carr is doing a great job getting to know this Saints’ offense, especially with Alvin Kamara on the sidelines until next week. Carr has propelled this offense to its first 2-0 season since 2013 thanks to contributors like undrafted Tony Jones Jr., who scored twice on Monday night in the Saints’ primetime win over division rival Carolina.

Wideout Chris Olave was another big contributor. After a weak showing in Week 1, he finally synched up with Carr and something clicked. Olave came alive in the second half of Monday’s win with six catches for 86 yards. He had a touchdown called back after the replay booth determined he stepped out of bounds at the 7-yard line.
When the final whistle blew, Olave led the team in targets and receiving yards. With some confidence and chemistry between Olave and Carr, I like the wideout’s chances to secure his first touchdown of the season against the Packers.
With the NFL odds at +200, Olave provides great value to score on Sunday against the Saints’ conference rivals in Green Bay.
Best prop NFL Pick Sept. 24: Chris Olave 1+ Touchdown (+200)
