Seahawks Top Bet to Win, Cover vs Commanders

I bet you’re thinking, “Man, with Week 10 already underway, I might as well get to work on my weekend NFL picks tonight.” And I get it. You know, the early bird gets the worm, and here at BetUS, we believe that the early bettor gets the best deals. So let’s get to talking about Sunday when the Washington Commanders will be paying the Seattle Seahawks a visit.

After taking a proverbial beating by the Baltimore Ravens last weekend, the Seahawks are tied with the San Francisco 49ers for the lead in the NFC West. Seattle knows that scoring a win here is a definite must. Washington, on the other hand, would be more than happy to make it two wins in a row after beating the limping New England Patriots last Sunday.

So, who’s taking the dub at Lumen Stadium?

Seahawks Can’t Afford Second Loss in Row

Just like last season, the Seahawks have made it a point to surprise NFL betting lines fans left and right by putting on quite a performance, even fighting for the division lead with the Niners.

With a slew of explosive young talents and a core of veterans that already had a taste of what it’s like to be deemed as NFL odds underdogs all last season, only to come back swinging, Seattle has shown it has plenty of fight in it. But, the Seahawks have also shown that all the pop, smoke, and hype can become their enemy as consistency has been an issue for the team.

Seattle beat the Cleveland Browns a couple of weeks ago, only to get plastered by the Ravens 37-3 last Sunday in a game which felt like the team on the field was a completely different one than from the previous week.

Now, I might not know that much about football, but if you want to be taken as a team to watch out for come the playoffs, then you have to be able to perform in a consistent level.

This is why winning for Seattle at home is a definite must.

Offensively, there’s no doubting that the Seahawks will be looking to come back as strong as possible after last week’s debacle. Against a defense as shaky as Washington, which ranks 28th overall, 30th in scoring and 27th against the pass, there’s no better chance for Geno Smith and his offense to truly put on a show.

On defense, keeping Washington quarterback Sam Howell and wideout Terry McLaurin under constant siege will be essential to lock down the Commanders down.

Pick Seattle to Win and Cover Without Hesitation

As previously mentioned, against a defense as weak as Washington’s, Seattle has the perfect scenario to not only bounce back from last week’s loss but also rebound in dominant form. With Smith and his receiver corps torching Washington’s secondary from beginning to end, this could very well become a blowout win for the Seahawks. That is, of course, as long as the team doesn’t fall victim to faulty defensive decisions to allow Washington to also run up the scoreboard.

With a much better offense, led by a slew of players that can easily offer some of the best value in NFL prop bets today for Sunday, take Seattle to easily cover the spread as it moves to 6-3.

NFL Pick: Seattle Seahawks -6 ½ (-110)

Over Too Good to Pass Up

I know, I’ve said it many times, Seattle will be coming into this game locked, loaded, and ready to unleash an offensive beating against Washington. It’s one of the main reasons the Seahawks are favorites in our NFL betting spread for the game. But Washington is the kind of team that, if it finds a couple of gaps here and there and is allowed enough room to move the ball around, will also light up the score.

Considering Washington has scored 20 and 31 points in its last two games, and Seattle will again be looking to put as many points up on the board as possible after being limited to three last week against Baltimore, get your online NFL betting game going fast and take the over for this game.

NFL Pick: Over 44½ (-110)

Questions Of The Day

Which Seahawks player is most likely to score a touchdown?

Dominant Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf will surely be looking to take a stab at Washington’s shaky secondary and reeling defense against the pass on Sunday, which makes him Seattle’s player most likely to score a TD.
